AnimatronicPony – Equestrian Overlord | Electronic
Drawing from several stylistic influences, AnimatronicPony creates a grooving sci-fi soundscape with this latest track. While most of the song is carried by a hip hop beat supported by ethereal pads, there are additionally moments of aggressive build up. Also, bonus points for cyborg ponies 🙂
DJT – Mood | Chillout
Featuring art from amazing and active pony & landscape artist Shamanguli and visuals by talented PMV editor DealFire, DJT graces us once again with a delightful piece, and this time it’s a chill one. Suitable for chillout indeed, I feel it still has that signature sound, energy and mood that DJT’s tracks use to give, which is much welcome as it adds quite a bit of originality to the track. Its ending is quite interesting, too, with a new take on the “silence” thing.
Nicolas Dominique – Forgotten Crystals (Remastered) | Chillout
In light of the recent premiere, releasing a remaster of a track originally made about the Crystal Empire as seen in the S3 premiere sure is very fitting. It is a real delight to re-discover a piece of chill/ambiant greatness that Nicolas Dominique is famous for!
Luck Rock & Drixale – Here Are Your Friends | Synth-Rock
A song about Friendship is always so heartwarming to get, and here we have one from two ponies who aren’t so well known in the community. Make sure to sub to their channels! (Here is Luck Rock’s upload of the collab) This track has an interesting mix between a soothing electronic mood and melodies played on instruments borrowed from rock music, as the bass and the guitar. Bliss!
Cosmic Kingdoms – Crystals | Chillout
Lovely duo Cosmic Kingdoms, composed of Voltage and Starlite Remedy, delivers a new mellow piece around Cadence and Twilight, and it does sound like it would come from the Crystal Empire! Partake in the loving vibes as those sweet notes and vocals unfold!
Ataraxia & Totalspark – Reflections | Chillout
It’s time for a brand new collaboration of many wonders, this time bringing Ataraxia and Totalspark together, two prominent pony musicians well known on Horse Music Herald! Stare into the Mirror Pond and join in experimental electronic bliss, as sounds from an other world unfold, and beautiful piano melodies guide your way into the unknown. Seventh Element & Mathie – (Resq) Down Under (feat. Cherax Destructor) | Chillout
“Rescuing” music by diving into a more psychedelic and experimental side, that is at least the outside of this new track born from Mathematicus “Mathie” and Cherax Destructor’s teamwork and harmonious ideas and concepts, along with Seventh Element. Starring Mathie’s enigmatic OC as well as Cherax’s, the song takes us to a quick but enthralling melodic amble into space, or perhaps a mindscape, filled with mysterious yet soothing moments.
