Event HoriXZ0n is back again, with a redo of his previous Discord remix! This one has absolutely top-tier sound design, with delicious wubs, warm synths, and an eerily pervasive clock. HoriXZ0n’s complextro is always wonderful, and this remix is no exception.
Electro
Lovestruck Brony – Dun Dun Dun | Electro
This track from Lovestruck Brony, is a neuro/dubstep-style electro track featuring some strong percussion, lovely synth design and some groovy composition throughout, which are all signature to his style. It’s also features on the recently released Raganrok Vol. 1 from Magnus Records, yet another example of how terrific that collection of tunes is!
Shurrikane – Balloon Party | Electro
Happy upbeat hors needs happy upbeat music, and that’s exactly where this song delivers. It’s a fun upbeat track with big synths and sweet melodies, and the little plucked string reprise at the end is a nice touch too!
SeyN AQ – PbN Project EP | Electronic
SeyN has composed a series of upbeat and very energetic electronic tracks. Some are more house, while others are more dubsteppy, but all of them are very good. It’s all-around a high-quality album, and very Vinyl-like!
The EP is available to buy for $3 from SeyN AQ’s Bandcamp.
Zizkil – A Mind Divided | Electro
This absolutely superb composition by Zizkil is about best pony. Elegant, energetic, and top quality, with hidden depth, it’s just like Starlight herself. It builds from simple pads and chords to complex wubs and zrees, in a delectable menagerie of sound.
Manus Records – Ragnarock Vol. 1 | Compilation Album | Electronic
And if one compilation album wasn’t enough for you tonight, here’s another one! South Korean brony & furry label Magnus Records teamed up with our very own Cider Party to bring you a mini-album that packs a real punch. The 6-track release features Magnus regulars Einarx and Mantlegen but also has appearances from Lovestruck Brony, AJ Young, Suskii, and Chang3ling. All in all it’s a great selection of bass-heavy producers and a more bitesize compilation album for you to try.
Silva Hound – Taco Tuesday (feat. Brittney Ackerman) (Silver Fenix Remix) | Big Room
Silver Fenix wasn’t afraid to take on a song from the famous Silva Hound, and he did wonders with this Big Room remix of the tune that dropped moments before BronyCon! Probably Silver’s most refined piece yet, it delivers a crazy party spirit along the iconic sample from Sonata Dusk. A fire remix indeed!
Game-BeatX14 – Changeling Invasion | Dark Electro
Some of you may know Game-BeatX14 from his awesome pony wallpapers on DeviantArt, yet the multi-skilled artist is now taking on the world of pony music on YouTube and his debut track is an enthralling Dark Electro tune about a changeling invasion. Definitely fitting very well to that theme, this onslaught of dark and intricate synths is portraying the assault with sharpness and passion.
VooDoo – Times To Come | Electro / Trance
Enchanted with a very interesting story/concept, VooDoo’s newest tune has got an ethereal vibe backed up with slick melodies arranged through various beautiful synths, and that makes it a piece of choice to convey an exploration into the unknown. Nopony can stop time… and Times To Come does an awesome job at reflecting the many mysteries and paradoxes that wake from the study of journeying through time.
Daniel Ingram – Flawless (UndreamedPanic Remix) | Electro Pop / Bubblegum Dance
The 14th episode of the season 7 got me attention because of the funny Rarity face and because of the amazing song composed by Daniel Ingram in there – Flawless. But I guess that this song also got attention to other people, such as UndreamedPanic. And what Panic did with the song is simply divine!
The vocals chops and the Equestria Girl song feeling that Panic gave to the song are 2 of the things that made this remix great. We know Panic from his originals that are pretty awesome, but what we don’t know is that Panic also can make pretty good remixes, and the Flawless remix is one of them. Basically all the instrumentation added by Panic is awesome and it have that modern pop feeling that it will make you dance till the end of the night! The vocal chops, the vocal chops! Well performed and well done Panic!
