The fandom’s hardstyle master Royalpony returns with an emotional yet bouncy track, Bright Diamond. The synths and vocal chops have a lovely atmospheric charm to them along with the requisite heavy drums featured in hardstyle. [P@D] L-Train – Daybreaker Boogie (feat. 4EverfreeBrony) | Electro Swing

Evil has never been this funky before. Track 4 from the upcoming Ponies at Dawn album Ignite is Daybreaker Boogie, an electro swing song by L-Train with vocals from 4everfreebrony! Although he’s primarily known for his hard-hitting metal bangers, this taste of fire is definitely welcome! 4efb’s vocals fit the instrumental perfectly as he sings from the evil perspective of Daybreaker, hoping to lure in an unnamed character. A very fitting theme considering this track’s hot as can be. Ignite drops on May 2nd!

MandoPony – Long Way From Equestria (Brilliant Venture & xRILLZEW’s Festival Bootleg) | Melodic Dubstep

Brilliant Venture and xRILLZEW have, as an exclusive bonus track to Brilliant Venture’s album “Legacy: In the Mix”, revoiced an early brony song from the classic duo of MandoPony and AcousticBrony. The two take the original rock piece and infuse it with a base of electronic drums redolent of melodic dubstep. They accompany the melancholic strumming of the original with a medley of faint synth arpeggios and chords. And in a final chorus, they make vocal chops out of the lyrics of the original. The changes in this bootleg create a complex Trip-Hop/Electronica structure that makes this song a unique progressive gem.

FilledSilhoutte – The Girls Are Back In Town | Future Funk

Ready for the funk? The Girls Are Back In Town is the second single from FilledSilhoutte’s upcoming album DAZZLED ’92, and it’s a certified banger. Centered around the Dazzlings, this piece of history feels like a night-time drive through a neon-lit city. Future Funk has a certain magic that few genres can capture.

Spikey Wikey – Showtime | Drum & Bass

Watch in awe as the great and powerful Spikey Wikey showcases some electronic talent as always! Showtime is a Trixie-based drum & bass track that puts a heavy focus on the bass, mixing softer piano chords with low and gritty bass along with familiar vocal samples of Trixie from Boast Busters. Can’t go wrong with some soft jungle!

Steryotype – ’05 EP | Lo-fi

A month after his ’04 EP, Steryotype has released his second EP of the year, as well as the second EP from his Till ’10 EP Collection! Just like the last one, this EP consists of 10 lo-fi tracks with samples taken from old records, mostly from the 60s and 80s. While none of the tracks contain original lyrics, they utilise their samples in a unique fashion, some of which taking on a strong hip-hop influence. My personal favourite tracks are StuffStartinToHitDifferentNowadays, IStartedToCry, DoneWrong and You’veBlessedMeForever; Stuff features a chilled atmosphere while feeling naturally aged, serving as a grand way to open this collection, while the other three combine hip-hop drums with the prominent samples at a perfect balance. In times like these, you’re probably looking for something calm and chilled out. Why not spin this a few times?

Mogul Dash – Get it Started (feat. Pinkie Rose and Niko de Ruiz) | Glitch-Hop

After well over half a decade in the making, Mogul Dash’s collab with Pinkie Rose and Niko de Ruiz (formerly known as Buffalo Brony) is finally here! While a shorter version was uploaded in late 2018, this is the finished product and it was definitely worth the wait. Pinkie Rose delivers fantastic harmonic vocals while Niko puts forth a strong set of rapped verses over a catchy instrumental with powerful bass and drums reminiscent of an 80s track!

Daniel Ingram – Find a Way (Snow Swirl Remix) | Drum & Bass

This fandom continues to inspire people to try creating something. Experimenting with ideas to try to mold their craft into their identity. Please welcome Snow Swirl. The project? Remixing Daniel Ingram’s “Find a Way” from the season 3 finale. Drum&Bass is the genre at hand. There are some nice things going on here with the use of the melodies to heighten Twilight’s emotions of restoring her friends to normal. and the use of the vocal chops of twilight realizing she knew how to fix this to aid with the story telling. It’s a nice start that like any new musician has room to grow and improve. Yes, overall production needs work. But I encourage us to support Snow Swirl as this was a good effort and it shows this remix was nice. Give some brony love to this musician. I hear talent in this track. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

Mane In Green – Inner Peace | Orchestral

Mane In Green returns with her first solo original of the year, Inner Peace. Inspired by a dream about Fluttershy who finds peace in her own little circle (hence the title), this track is soft, calming and peaceful. Plenty of soft orchestral sounds along with heavenly bells and what sounds like an electric bass guitar. 6 minutes of absolute bliss…
