Coming in strong after a banger of a track is another banger by The Empty Tomb! I don’t know how he does it, I swear. One second he drops an amazing Future Bass VIP and the next literally a few days later is a slapper Future Funk track. After hearing the original sample which is used through the entire song, George Benson’s Give Me the Night, which was definitely full disco, Tomb’s track takes that old disco feel and flips it on it’s head. I’m not kidding, by adding great sounding percussion and modern EDM kicks and snares, it changes the flow from your parent’s disco to something that everyone will want to blast through their speakers. I swear he’s like this fandom’s version of Jonas Aden, always releasing bangers all the time!!

[Chaos Rising] The Empty Tomb – Good Times VIP | Future Bass
Have you ever wondered what a song would sound like if Illenium made music for the My Little Pony fandom? Well this is the answer to that question, The Empty Tomb’s Good Times VIP! It has everything an amazing future bass track should ever have, strong chords, heavy bass lines, an insane melody, and the perfect foley samples. I’m not kidding, when I was going through the submissions for my label’s first collab album Chaos Rising, Tomb’s was the very first submission. The title definitely peaked my interest so when I listened to the submission I was seriously blown away! I wasn’t expecting those insane sounding chords in the drop at all, I swear I was listening to a track that was played at Lost Lands.
[Equinity] sleepy toaster – All Over Equestria | Future Bass
Hey, listen! sleepy toaster’s contribution to Equinity 02: Catalyst is All Over Equestria, a unique electronic piece with various influences as well as the 8th track. Starting off slow with a soft staccato synth stab section before adding a quick buzzing synth that sounds like it came straight from the 2000s. What follows is a brilliant modern-sounding slow house jam with beautiful melodies and even a sample of Navi from Legend of Zelda. Such a wild combination of styles, but it all comes together nicely!
[P@D] Too Taken – Be My Heart | Future Bass
Ponies at Dawn: Echoes‘ 15th track will be sure to take your heart with this lovely future bass piece! Be My Heart is full of beautiful synths and pads along with some beautiful vocal chops that’d give you diabetes! There’s many different styles here; some of the synths sound like they come from the 80s and even 8-bit video games, making for a lovely crossover. Be sure to spin this one!
Tadpole – Twilit Remembrance | Future Bass
I’ve said it plenty of times but it bears repeating: these ponies’ voices were meant for electronic music. Twilit Remembrance is a smooth Future Bass track that utilises plenty of vocal chops of Twilight’s voice along with beautiful synth riffs and pads alongside a trap beat. A catchy reminder of the show that made all this possible!
[PVCF] John Kenza – Love (feat. 4EverfreeBrony) (Loophoof Remix) | Future Bass
Undoubtedly one of the fastest-rising stars in recent pony music memory, loophoof returns from his incredible B2B set at Ponyville Ciderfest with John Kenza with a wonderful remix Kenza’s juggernaut, Love. Also featured on Ciderfest’s now-annual charity compilation, this remix retains the soul of the original but brings in dramatic, cathartic leads, well-placed trap percussion, and even whole sections of slightly darker, grittier experimentation. This one is a lot to digest for an EDM song, so get ready for a ride!
TCB – NOTHING IS FOREVER (2019) | Future Bass
TCB pours a lot of emotion into this rendition of NOTHING IS FOREVER. A very reflective and melancholic piece filled with a myriad of vocal chops and a tense, but heart warming atmosphere. The second half of the song makes a great use of complex arpeggios and a solid break beat and is an excellent switch up that still carries its vibe and message and is a unique and wonderful track!
TCB & loophoof – Part of Your Day | Future House
TCB and loophoof teamed up for a very lovely joint tribute to Yona, and the events of S09E07 She’s All Yak! This complete version of Part of Your Day is expressing so much love and passion with the gorgeous vocal chops and even the sampling of dialog lines from the episode, showing much support toward Yona and Sandbar, and re-enacting the wonderful moral of the episode! Also seen on Cider Party!
[P@D] ExplodingPonyToast, LutariFan & ThatMusicBrony – Start Again (Too Taken Remix) | Future Bass
Drift away with Too Taken’s remix of Start Again, perfect for any serene background. It incorporates the vocals of the original overtop the most cavernous drums and electric piano harmonies until a surprisingly nonchalant drop of bells and FM sounding synths. Glittered with jazzy chords, saxophones, and an electric piano solo near the end, it serves as a grace to the golden oldie that is the original. Wafting through time comes with ease with this colorful track on repeat.
This track is available as part of Ponies at Dawn Eternal.
Dijit – Peppermint (feat. Puffy) (DeaDmau6 Remix) | Future Bass
Quite an emotional remix of Dijit‘s original track, this new musical endeavor by DeaDmau6 is giving a new spin to the original vocal chops with this slower play, and provides a new instrumental accompaniment that empowers the emotion gotten from the chops with a powerful deep bass and ambient melodies. That makes for such a creative contrast and dynamic with the vocals, and sparks a certain magic that I couldn’t explain with words.
