Track 34 from ASOS: Chocolate is all about passion. This bouncy house track from LaunchSix features smooth vocals from Chasing Dawn with lyrical themes about musical passion while set to a lovely, homely set of chords and uplifting synth riffs. The flames that these musicians have lit will never burn out or be snuffed, and in this fandom, I definitely feel that one. Give these guys some love!
House
[ASOS] Dropper Vampire – Broken Soul | House
Today we got ourselves some more Sugar in the form of Dropper Vampire’s new big room house masterpiece Broken Soul and contrary to what you might believe after reading the title this is not a sad song, it’s actually a rather upbeat song. It already starts out with some awesome house tunes and no sign of calming down insight… at least until the beat suddenly stops and the lovely lyrics begin closely followed by a hook so catchy you can’t do anything but dance. After some lovely sample tunes the beat builds up until it once more transitions into the state of 120% cool. Suddenly the beat calms down a lot and slowly starts building up again with lyrics until we once more transition into the hook. After some more singing the beat builds up a last time. Now let’s focus on the lyrics for a second: The lyrics are essentially about someone in a relationship that broke and it really had a deep impact on the singer who seems angry at her partner.
[ASOS] Voltex Pixel & Camelia – Stuck In The Cloud | Future House
Welcome everypony to A State of Sugar: Chocolate, the newest album from our friends over at Cider Party. For now we’ve got ourselves a lovely house track by Voltex Pixel. The track starts out amazing and believe me when I say it gets even better! I personally love all things horse house but even if you don’t, this track is going to make you dance either way. Voltex Pixel also keeps his near PMV style music videos with various artworks of, in this case Fluttershy and gameplay from ‘Them’s Fightin Herds’. This track is sure to lift your spirits with its happy upbeat tune and the combination of Future House and Future Bounce makes for an amazing dance track.
Yuru – Endeavour | House
Today we got ourselves a track by a lesser known artist by the name of Yuru (Redstone Brony on YT and Soundcloud) who brings us an amazing house track. The track starts out with a beat that goes from simple to awesome in ten seconds flat (literally) and keeps on building until it transitions into a simpler beat which starts building again until it reaches its apex in a melody that will make you dance no matter where you are. Later it transitions back into a simpler, calmer melody that gives you time to breathe after all the dancing and than starts building up again until it once more reaches its apex in the same dance melody from before. [Equinity] Power Note – Backdoor | Techno
This right here is a genre that needs to be shown off in the fandom more often! This 100% good ol’ fashion techno. It goes right into the theme of Equinity 3. The awesome melody embodies the mascot of the label trying to make a great escape from a grand heist. The beats and effects really push the tempo on the drama of this story. Each of the effects, like the use of the keyboard notes, the rumbling and rolling pace and even the harmonies used as well are nice. The pounding bass with the grindy buzz sounds like an alarm system going off and she has to swiftly leave before she is trapped. Oh, and a nice little easter egg at the end there as well. Techno still is one of the best genres of electronic music and needs to be used so much more in my opinion. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Voltex Pixel & Koron Korak – Dash To The Rainbow | House
Today I have the honor of presenting to you this lovely track by Voltex Pixel and Koron Korak. If you’re like me a lover of horse house or pony EDM overall you will definitely enjoy this track. the track starts out lovely and simply and more stuff starts to join in as it progresses and I can promise lovers and haters of EDM alike that the chorus will make you lose every thought of self containment that you haven´t lost yet and you will bob your head along with the music. Also with the lovely drawings of Rainbow Dash and gameplay from the game “Them’s Fightin’ Herds’ this video has a whole PMV accompanying it and frankly there is no other more fitting description for this masterpiece than simply saying it slaps.
PSFMer – Zone | Techno
PSFMer’s new foray into Techno is getting the genre on point, with such subtle elements brought progressively to a danceable and enthralling rhythm! The SFM artwork was made by the musician himself as well, as the tradition goes! This is such an immersive trip into an Equestrian club!
RedSpark – Fabulous Nightmare | Melbourne Bounce
A standalone tribute to Nightmare Rarity outside of the Tale of Starlight Symphonic Poem, Fabulous Nightmare is also a break from Orchestral, as the song will soon take you in Melbourne Bounce fun! It feels classy too, so there are Rarity vibes in there for sure as well!
Daniel Ingram – The Magic Inside (Camelia Remix) | Electro House
A remix filled with emotion in reponse to the emotion felt from the episode, this Electro House beauty from our beloved Camelia is paying much tribute to The Magic Inside and Coloratura. Through the vocals or the bright and powerful synths, feel that distinct emotion and vibe of holding a lighter during a certain part of a music live!
AC-527 – Feelin’ Pinkie Keen | House
Lovey, sugarly, and positive. Those are the words that come to my mind when I hear the very bubbly and hyper melodies of this song about Pinkie Pie. You can say what you want about Pinkie Pie, and sure, maybe you think her overly happy persona is a bit much. However, listen to how this track is composed and the Pinkie vocal chops used in it. They show the moments where Pinkie is not being hyper but just bringing joy and fun to those around her. AC here was inspired by a fanfic by CrystalChameleon to compose this track and it really shows the real spirit of Pinkie Pie. Just listen. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
