It’s time for more awesomeness from Dj Shadow Music! This one is a pretty chill tropical house beat. It definitely is a reminder of what the beach is like, especially a beach like Maui. The lead is well-done as a mellow timbre, as it contributes to the chill feel of the song. The drum pattern is pop-like and lighthearted, and the simplicity of the song actually adds to it’s overall feel. There is a claim that sometimes, less is more, and Dj Shadow has supported that claim!

Not gonna lie, this track is the living embodiment of why I think our fandom is so creative and awesome. I can really feel the vibes from this song. The thrill for adventure and purpose is astoundingly well replicated. Bluu did a very good job and I suggest you definitely check this track out. The energy is real, it really is.

Inspired by Discordant Harmony, eksoka made a really uplifting, emotional and danceable Progressive House track with some Trance elements! The vocal chops of Fluttershy are really well made and I loved the synth work. The drums with the synth make a really awesome harmony, plus the vocal chops! The song is atmospheric and uplifting! If you are feeling down, listen to this song and dance! At least, for me, listening to some really awesome music makes me happy!

Dj Shadow Music – Undecryptable Mind | Bass House
Dj Shadow Music is back on Horse Music Herald once again, giving us some more fresh beats, with this one having three different genres played in it! The dubstep, hybrid trap, and bass house sections really give the song a different kind perspective for each, but they all reflect the main idea in the end. The type of drums that come in early on give the idea that this work will be a thriller; and especially with the main bass and sub bass pairing together during the drops really hold the aforementioned statement to be true. Then, Dj Shadow decided to throw in a curveball with a subtle tempo change and completely modify the groove of the song to a bass house style, which was well-put together!

Inspired by the APPLE.MOV video of the series PONY.MOV done by hotdiggedydemon, Dj Shadow Music releases a really trippy and psychedelic track, probably that can describes the feelings of applejack when she had that really big Overdose. The sampling work is really good, and the instrumental is really well performed. Also the visuals of the video are really well done also. If you want to have a good time dancing, this is the song, turn up the volume and jam to this!
Segments Of Life – Cube | Trancecore / Hybrid Trap
Segments of Life is one that projects that always surprise me, because of the genres that the project brings, this case, Trancecore. Trancecore is a really rare genre on brony fandom, probably you may have hear some Melodic Metalcore with Trance influences on some PrinceWhateverer or Sable Symphony songs. But Segments of Life is a different way of using the Trancecore elements, in Segments’ songs we have more Trance elements that Melodic Metalcore ones, so that’s why I say that Trancecore is a rare genre in brony fandom.
After this introduction, let’s talk about the song, Cube has really amazing guitar riffs, look like some really Djenty or Progressive Metalcore guitar riff. The symphonic pads used are also really atmospheric and give to the song an ethereal aspect. The synths and the drums joint the song and make the song really awesome. And then that Hybrid Trap drop at the end it’s really amazing, I felt chills when I first listened to it! Really amazing mixing of genres.
This song and more other 7 are featured in Segments’ newest album, The Vivid Dream, where the main genre is Trancecore, but it’s mixed with a lot of genres. The sampling and chops are very well done and it gives some very good vibes. It reminds me of alot of good times we Bronies have Shared. Bronies on their Prime Time man (we still are though lol), the Nostalgia. I’m so proud of what we achieved together. and this Track will definitly bring more to the collection of awesomeness. As said in the song; “What are you waiting for? an Invitation?” SHUT UP AND DANCE WITH ME!… wait, that was something else wasn’t it? anyway, just Dance man! Yeah, seriously, DANCE!

UndreamedPanic has another Bass House banger for us! This work comes from his inspiration from S4E6, “Power Ponies.” The sound design of the main basses are unique and original, concerning the fact that he makes his own bass patches! The Fluttershy vocal chops are creatively done, and the vocal ambience during the drops really ties everything in. If there was an MLP-themed HOWSLA album, “Powershy” would definitely be on it!

Kavidun recent passing away shocked a lot of the people of the fandom, may she rest in peace, including a lot of musicians. Viricide Filly was one of that musicians, so she dedicated this song to Kavi! This song represents the style of music that Viricide does, really atmospheric, danceable and ethereal with robotic vocals and really cool and mechanical drum beats.
This song is really emotional, sweet and really gave me chills down my spine, even if I didn’t know Kavi more than Viricide or other people, I could really feel the feeling of mourning in the song, sending love to everyone and I’m in mourn with all of you!
