In “Showdown VIP”, Jalmaan brings us a truly beautiful progressive house track. The bold synths, the uplifting melodies, the wonderfully atmospheric pads, and the evolving drums all compliment each other to form a stunning product. The production quality is off the charts, and the sounds are amazingly rich and full. Listening to this was one of the most relaxing things I’d done all day, along with playing Engineer. If you like electronic music, give it a listen. You won’t regret it!

Viricide Filly – Back From Reality | Album | Electronic
FINALLY! After 3 years of hard work and production, British musician Viricide Filly releases her 5th album. Bringing us a mix of incredible textures and melodies that are really inspiring and incredible, making the album worth more than just 1 listen! Really, listen to this album more than 5 times! Because this is really amazing!
Now, what I can say about this amazing masterpiece? First, Viricide’s robotic vocals in songs like “Stuck In The Sky” (available on video) are very well mix with the instrumental and the lyrics of the songs are also quite awesome! Second, I love a lot Viricide’s experiments at each track, the intro track is well performed, and also the experiments at “Vanishing Point” (available on Cider Party) are really incredible and gives an atmospheric look to the track. Third, this album actually tells a story about Viricide’s OC, Eleanor, making a great and inspiring concept album.
I recommend this album to everyone, without exceptions! Also, listen to this more than 5 times, please! Give Viricide the feedback that she deserves for her 3 years hard work!
You can download the album from Viricide’s Bandcamp or stream the whole thing on YouTube.
Otarine – Daybreaker | Orchestral House
This orchestral house composition blends gentle piano and absolutely beautiful orchestral with funky electronic sounds. The synths halfway through only enhance the already stunning strings. The whole song is full of emotion, and truly feels like Celestia becoming Daybreaker.
BlueBrony – Ultraviolet | Progressive House
BlueBrony’s lovely progressive track alternates between soft and gritty, switching effortlessly to compliment the mood. All throughout, the song maintains a consistent theme, calling back to previous sounds and offering hints of what’s to come. The dual nature of the song mirrors Celestia and Daybreaker’s dynamic, with both sides getting their turn to shine.
Neon Lights – Civil War | Big Room House
N O V U S O R D O S E C L O R U M
Neon Lights has already blown me away with some of their other house songs, and it’s fantastic to see them both on the new Ponies At Dawn album and featuring on Cider Party too! This track has a great hard hitting drop with big, full saws, and both deep and growly basses.
This is the last of our Ponies At Dawn pre-releases. The album goes up later tonight and the livestream starts in about an hour!
Official DJRedSkY – Good Feel | House
This groovy, smooth house track by DJRedSkY uses oldschool synths to wonderful effect. The warm plucks and groovy beat are delicious, and the saxophone adds that special something. The production quality is absolutely amazing and blends all the elements together in just the right way.
The Dark Side – Back To The Action | Big Room
The Dark Side is now Back To The Action with a returning track shining as bright as the cover art. Uplifting melodies and a soothing mood provide quite a delightful experience, and the progression is quite amazing with several melodic parts completing each other in a beautiful journey of sound.
Throwback Thursday | ShadyVox – Pony Rock Anthem (feat. Nowacking & BreeFaithVA) | Electro House
Editor’s note: hey look remember TBTs haha we didn’t for a long time
If there’s a single song that truly captures the zeitgeist of 2012, this might well be it. ShadyVox‘s lead vocals as Neon Lights are excellent, Nowacking does a flawless Vinyl as usual, and BreeFaithVA‘s at home as Pinkie. The pumping beat, soaring leads, and ecstatic vocals all combine to form a perfect hype-up tune. If you’ve heard this before, you’re in for some serious nostalgia. And if you haven’t, you’re in for a wonderful surprise.
AnNy Tr3e – Sun Guardian | House
Opening with warm melodies interspersed with glitchy wubs, and progressing into a beautiful and very energetic beat, AnNy Tr3e is sure to get your tails bouncing and your hooves pounding! Moving into the breakdown, those glitchy wubs make a comeback, accompanied with vocal chops. All throughout, the song stays uplifting and danceable. We all know Fluttershy would like to be a tree, and if this is the kind of music they make, I have to agree with her!
Saintz – Rise | Deep House
Saintz brings us a high-energy, dark piece of deep house. With a consistent and high-quality main synth that reminds me of Deadmau5’s “Phantoms Can’t Hang” , the song maintains a theme throughout. The smoothly progressing drums and spooky effects compliment the overall “feel”, and the excellent production rounds out the track. A perfect track to set on replay and listen to for a few hours.
