Before today I’d never heard of Lukas Vokrinek. But after listening to this song, I wish I had. It’s amazingly inspirational epic orchestral, themed around Twilight fleeing her attackers. You can feel the danger and fear flowing through each note.

Ponyphonic returns! Dane Larson writes and performs this haunting yet lovely song about the Queen of the Changelings and, as you can expect from Ponyphonic tunes, it is absolutely gorgeous and the quality is sky-high! The lyrics and melody perfectly encapsulate the vibe of a “love” song by Chrysalis, with an incredible accompaniment behind it. A new pony song from Ponyphonic has been in order for quite a while and they certainly do not disappoint!
Zephysonas – Forbidden Knowledge | Orchestral / Soundtrack
Creativity is unlimited, and so is the power of music and passion! Zephysonas presents a whole new series of concept-centered pieces, even featuring VA work! This first one wonderfully creates lore from a faraway land, including a new character species, and tells the story and point of view of Eri Rebecula, voiced by Pretty Pegasus Wings and illustrated by UrbanQhoul! Zephysonas does wonders at conducting this whole concept and new world, introducing it with Ambient work, and enacting the dark, occult yet powerful vibes from the story through masterful Orchestral music! Excited for the next installments in this series!
Lukas Vokrinek – Sleeping | Orchestral
Lukas entrances us with a new Orchestral piece, this time centered around the peacefully sleeping Fluttershy from INowIseeI’s artwork! Showcasing such a refined composition, the track makes us follow her dreams, sweet yet intense, and it makes for such a comforting and beautiful experience!
Elias Frost – Banished | Symphonic Gothic Metal
A gorgeous ode to Luna and the fateful events around her banishment to the moon that we are all familiar with, Banished is full of Elias’ mighty talent at strong and emotional vocals, all while carrying a powerful progression including choruses and an epic guitar solo part. Icing on the cake, the track also fittingly covers William Anderson’s Luna’s Theme from the show, that you can hear in BGMs such as Your Own Shadow from the episode Bloom and Gloom.
[P@D] BlueBrony – Imperfection | Orchestral Pop
BlueBrony has always excelled at making songs in ways no one else could think, while maintaining a very high quality to the track – in any genre! Featured on the most recent Ponies at Dawn release, Enigma, BlueBrony manages to standout among the fandom’s best of the best with Imperfection. The chord progression and choices are perfect, controlling emotion as it swings between anguish, confused, and hopeful. The song is a narrative from Sweetie Bot’s point of view and despite being about a robot, is perhaps one of the most relatable songs this fandom has produced. The vocals sings of how Sweetie Bot wants her programming reset and memories flushed because it does not work correctly; her circuits and functionality creating limitations she feels the need to exceed. This masterpiece is beautiful, touching, and guaranteed to move you – just try to listen without tearing up!
AstralAmity – For Harmony (feat. Sable Symphony) | Indie Pop
Another track from AstralAmity’s upcoming magnum opus album, For Harmony is a beautiful collab with Sable Symphony that not only has his unique vocals adding much personality to the track, but also has electric guitars and makes for a very creative fusion of electronic, rock, and orchestral elements. The choruses in particular are very emotional for me, and with Sable’s vocals it makes it even more powerful.
GhostXb – Slave to Ambition | Orchestral / Experimental
The second installment in GhostXb’s series of horror-themed songs for this month, Slave to Ambition depicts the scene from the artwork so well with disturbing precision (literally), providing the mood of the moment in musical ways perfectly. If pictures were converted into sound files, this is what it must result for that one!
[P@D] RoomVR, Mufaya & jetty – Will Of The Wind | Epic Orchestral
One of my many favorites from Ponies at Dawn Enigma, RoomVR’s collab with Mufaya and jetty lives up to its epic and poetic name with a fittingly epic and progressive track of over 7 minutes that showcases the magic of every musician’s talent so well. Not lacking in terms of emotion, the divine piece makes us reach new planes of consciousness as we loose ourselves to the magical melodies and atmosphere, and let the Wind Guide Us… (Reference to Wind Guide You intended.) Because yes, this track also has a deep concept about embracing the unknown, following the wind, to find the place where you belong… And you can read all about it in the comments section (thanks RoomVR for explaining <3). With such a concept and instrumental wonders, this masterpiece certainly makes us feel we’re right where we’re supposed to be as we listen to it!
[P@D] Jyc Row – Dragons (feat. Tim Storms) | Orchestral
To pay tribute to Ember, the new herald of the dragon spirit and culture, Jyc Row enlisted the help of the one and only Tim Storms to contribute with very fitting low-note vocals! With such an epic and grand instrumental, and vocals reflecting the might of the dragons, this track off Ponies at Dawn Enigma sure nails its concept spot-on!
