DELTARYZ and Layl have collaborated to create an exuberant song with the nuances of a happy hardcore track. The gleeful sound of this track, I find, is very reminiscent of the mounds of early 2010’s happy hardcore music I’ve listened to by artists like Lapfox Trax. The synth elements of this track bring out a blissful response that truly does reflect the idiosyncrasies of Silverstream’s eternal mood. Listen to feel like Silverstream!

Aaron Breeze – Theme Song (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Jazz/Orchestral
The introduction that we’re all so familiar with has never sounded so musically inspiring! Pianist Aaron Breeze has taken the Friendship is Magic theme music and combined it with jazz and gospel influences to create a medley of sounds in celebration of season 9 of My Little Pony. What better way to show homage? This rendition of Daniel Ingram’s timeless song shows such a musical proficiency that it becomes hard to believe it started with improvisation. The piece commences with Breeze’s piano, which serves as the cornerstone of the arrangement, accompanied by the embellishments of strings and woodwinds. An electric bass and subtle strokes on a drum set slowly lead the piece into an outburst of soul and funk sounds. The arrangement ends with one face-melting orchestral chorus, and the sophisticated sound of Aaron’s jazziest playing. These types of creations were what YouTube was made for, check it out!
VocallegraEnby – Stay Here Forever | Electropop
Something quick and sugary for the fandom. Stay Here Forever features the vocal talents of the Vocaloid Avanna who sings about how the fandom has impacted our lives (or you could interpret it as the mane 6 singing about how they’ve left their mark on Equestria) with a lovely melody and soothing electronic backing. Songs about our fandom never cease to be a joy to the ear!
DAϟH and Nyancat380 – Ketamine | Splittercore
The clash of the fandom’s heavy EDM stars DAϟH and Nyancat380 has just burst onto the scene. Ketamine sets out to commit aural assault in a brutal yet pleasurable manner with its incredibly harsh synths and distorted drums and vocal samples. While we don’t recommend you stock up on ket, we do recommend you listen to this song and let it make you go wild!
Koron Korak – Twilight gets Help from Starlight | Soft Techno
With the pandemic going on in the world. Bronies are stuck at home. Some have little more time on their hands then others. That means bored bronies are making meme’s. More so Koron here is catching up on later seasons of FiM. He finishes season 6. A talented musician then does as bronies who are bored do. Make a meme with music! But why is it a meme? Koron brings you an infinite gif, (please see video LOL) . With this meme it has some nice elements to it. It has some very nice keyboard and synthesizing effects for a melody that reminds me of a soft techno theme. There are some catchy effects that will make you giggle a little. All of this for a meme about starlight using her multiplying spell , going with the rhythm of walking down stairs just because it’s funny and cute but why LOL Koron explains more in the video’s description about the inspiration for making this tune. Have a laugh. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Yanamosuda – Stay With Me | Jazz
This track, short and sweet, is genuinely one of the most refreshing pieces I’ve listened to recently. The audible influences behind this song search far and wide to create a unique composition reminiscent of a multitude of different sounds. The piece commences with an atmospheric introduction composed of reflective, ambient chords and lo-fi drums. But it’s then to be interrupted by a heavy snare roll which introduces the RnB-like riffs of the bass guitar and the fusion-y electric piano chords. The verse, which also contains a spacious saxophone, evokes a very present contemporary jazz flavor in the song. Unique compositions like this should not go unrecognized, have a listen!
Branrich VanIster – A Diamond At Sea | Soundtrack
A Diamond at Sea is pure serenity. Showcasing Branrich’s familiar jazzy style, the song sets out to depict a scenario of Rarity showing off her graceful beauty on a boat. Nothing gets in the way of her lovely looks. Although the video doesn’t showcase the beautiful art that inspired the song, it’s still a lovely sight to sea. I’ll be here all week.
Ponytronic – Yet, You Don’t Care | Chillout
Ponytronic is on a roll. Yet, You Don’t Care is a trippy and cathartic track featuring rapid synth sounds and cute vocal sounds in front of a chill drum track. This track’s happy demeanour is more of a mask in front of its true meaning: going through the trauma of past love as the dark feelings slowly begin to take over. I’m sure we’ve all gone through something like this before. As Ponytronic requests, if you’ve got anyone you care about in your life, cherish them, especially in these trying times.
UndreamedPanic – Miss You | House
UndreamedPanic returns with his first original of the year. While it was sadly rejected from the upcoming Ponies at Dawn compilation, he’s released it for us after giving it a good cleanup! Miss You is a lovely and glitzy house track with lovely vocal chops and synths that fit the absolute definition of ear candy. The song even takes on a chiptune influence, especially in the middle where we’re subjected to an amazing 8-bit styled solo before jumping right back into the bouncy sweetness. What a banger!
Evdog & AnimatronicPony – Dreammaker | Trance
After a year in the making, Evdog and AnimatronicPony‘s collaboration Dreammaker is finally here! All about dreams and hopes, this track showcases some emotional vocal deliveries from Evdog over a beautiful trance instrumental with beautiful pianos and choirs making the meat and potatoes of the song, and some show vocal chops to add the finishing touches. This song is a dream itself that I sure don’t wanna wake up from!
