Now this here is the best of treats for me, because it’s a remix of a BGM from the show that I love a lot!! It also works as an extended version. Toby has been on a roll with those, and it’s a real delight to get his take on the amazing Serious Practice BGM by William Anderson. In the same vein, I recommend Fluttershy’s Training Montage which is my favorite BGM from the show ever..! So very emotional to get such rock greatness along the events of the episode…

Equestria Electric Symphony Orchestra – Rainbow Dash (Soar Into The Blue) | Synthpop / Orchestral
I like this, thissa good track :3 I like the lyrical arrangement and that playing together with the melody. As someone myself with feelings for somebody I care about a lot (and like, truly love) I can relate to this track. The symphony is performed marvelously and I really enjoyed listening to this. Rainbow Dash is proud of y’all ❤ Well done guys, great work!
PrinceWhateverer – Better Tomorrow (feat. IMShadow007, Sable Symphony, Amethyst Shade, Metal Core Pony, Silent Echo & 4EverfreeBrony) | Metal
Heavily inspired by Argodaemon‘s animations, and this one in particular, this song by PrinceWhateverer is about Twilight. Centuries in the future, when she’s outlived all her friends, what is there left for her to do? Brimming with emotion, this is a truly wonderful piece of music.
Turquoise Splash – So Much Left To See | Soft Rock
What an amazing surprise to have a new release from the long-time fandom great, Turquoise Splash! So Much Left to See is exactly as amazing as you would expect from someone who has been a big part of so many fandom hits over the years, featuring incredibly beautiful vocals and a gorgeous acoustic guitar. The track is a love song between Derpy and Doctor Whooves with Splash singing of how much better things are for the ponies to be together. It is difficult to listen to just once and that’s a fantastic quality to have in a song.
Reverbrony – Drifting on Tides Unknown | Ambient Rock
Reverbrony continues his rampage of great releases with this eerie instrumental. In a style that you do not hear from many other musicians, Reverbrony achieves his big-room rock sound while managing to create a piece that is both relaxing and perturbing at the same time. The slow tempo and repetitive guitar riff creates an ambience of piece while the empty whistling sound out of the stereo field injects a sense of anxiety into the track. The entire emotion of the track is unique in a way that you should really listen to in order to understand!
[ASOS] RoomVR – Let’s Go For A Walk | Orchestral
RoomVR’s heartfelt new masterpiece moved the audience a lot during the live release party of A State of Sugar Bubblegum, and its storytelling intent and personal meanings are certainly a part of what made the track to be so impactful. Music is magic, and in times like these it can not only make you feel powerful and otherworldly emotions, but also convey the creator’s feelings and being thus empowered by that. Insane talent, beautiful creativity and musical vision, personal feelings, and an intent to share them, all contributed to make this divine experience of sound possible. Truly an amazing tribute to what you can feel while being surrounded by the beauty and peace of Nature, during a walk in the woods…
Elias Frost – While My Yovidaphone Gently Drones | Traditional Yak Music
Playing on the name of the classic While My Guitar Gently Weeps from The Beatles, Elias Frost follows up on the early-released new episode with more yovidaphone play that would impress more than one yak. Complete with mighty percussions representing the pride of the yak kingdom, and other traditional instruments, the song is a much welcome continuation to the episode’s lore and pays much tribute to it.
Yak happy! Yak smash!
[ASOS] eksoka – Little Journey | Trance
NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 27 July 2018
More trance from eksoka can only mean that good times are around the corner, and this time we’ve got a CMC-inspired piece from them about going on an adventure. There’s heaps of awesome classic trance-y vibes throughout the track with super cool use of vocal chops to add some atmosphere to the piece as it winds through some lovely melodies.
HACKD – Go With The Flow | Tech House
If you like creative use of clips from episodes, then this round of cider will be to your taste! It was inspired by S06E12 Spice Up Your Life and it’s full of flavor as per The Tasty Treat’s tradition! Lovely use of both vocal and SFX clips from the episode is complementing an instrumental and sound design work from under the counter, and HACKD displays once more how pony passion and hard work make the magic happen.
[ASOS] BlackIceMusic – Sweet & Sour | Melbourne Bounce
Fresh from the A State of Sugar: Bubblegum Album BlackIceMusic gives us this funky and fresh gem. Melbourne bounce is something we could always use more of and they nailed the feel perfectly. There is quite a bit going on here and the sprinkling of vocal chops and samples alternating from “sweet to sour” really brings out the sass while keeping things cute and all in all is a great piece to sample from the album.
