Glitch-hop inspired drums and basses accompanied by slap bass guitars ready your ears for this joyous album! The track that follows that swing-y piece is CADENZA, glittered with saw stabs, trap-inspired drums and a lush, reverberant piano that gives this track its sense of wonderous melody. With melodies, basses, and drums that are reminiscent of 90’s era trance, ILLUMINATE MY NIGHT represents Princess Luna in this album, and also acts as my personal favorite track. Last but not least, the sounds from the finishing track ENLIGHTEN emit pure euphoria. With vocal chops, sine sub-basses, and a lively second drop, ENLIGHTEN represents Princess Celestia. Although it’s a relatively small release, PRINCESSES is energetic, bouncy, and fleshed-out enough to gratify a listen or two!

Pipetka – Calamity Theme | Country Rock
Fans of Fallout Equestria. I really should get a kick out of this one! The gun-slinging Mr fix it pony pegasus gets a very character-driven theme that if you never read anything Fallout: Equestria wise raises hoove, you get an idea of the character itself. You listen along to a very sly and hard acoustic guitar that sets the tone for Calamity coming into taking care of business. Then you get a feeling how much an outlaw and formidable guy Calamity is when you get this bass and drum combo with the taste of Harmonical and Tambourine for that “business is about to pick up the flavor.” Calamity character has had it rough by reading the backstory, and this theme sure gives you that impression. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

Japkozjad & Virus Ponies – PegasiHouse | Slap House
Well, after delivering one hell of a banger collab with Altius Volantis, Japkozjad has now picked up Virus Ponies (also known as DEAD Virus) for this awesome Slap House track, and…well, slap it does! This track starts out with some awesome vocal chops which are quickly joined by the awesome beat. After a bit we get a sick synth build up and a drop that’ll slap you right out of your chair. Afterwards the song continues as before, but it gets a bit more quiet and switches to a clapping rhythm before going completely silent only to return for yet another beautiful build up and drop. For the ending it slowly fades out.
