The first part of Falling is here. It tells the tale of what remains of the Crystal Empire, now lacking the heart that keeps it in place. The music is rather laid back as an atmospheric piano plays to start off with, while his vocals are absolutely loaded with harmonies. There’s a lot of unique sounds here that are bliss on the ears, such as the glitzy synth chords and 8-bit notes, overall having Vylet Pony vibes! Can’t wait to see where this story goes!

Chasing Dawn – One | Chill Pop
I absolutely adore this new track from Chasing Dawn!!! Octavia x Vinyl Scratch has been a staple of this fandom for as long as I can remember, and hearing a song about it brings me so much joy! The instrumental is very chill and airy, classic to the Chasing Dawn sound, but it has a bit of that extra drive that you’d expect from a Vinyl song, and I adore that! The lyrics are a magical journey themselves, telling the story of the beautiful love between two ponies with such different lives. I can’t wait for the next tune!
[P@D] Luna Ticks – Alcohol Like Oxygen | Punk Rock
The Luna Ticks made a comeback at the end of last year and submitted a song for Ponies At Dawn – Ignite. Alcohol Like Oxygen is sung from the perspective of a character whose friend tends to go a bit overboard in the alcohol department, Berry Punch for instance. It can be seen as a sequel to Complication that came out four years ago. The instrumental is just what Quicksilver‘s style is: guitars and bass that rock hard, with a special note here on the mixing of the drums that include live-like panning. The vocals from Quicksilver and Francis Vace are full of energy and passion as always — the Luna Ticks in essence.
[P@D] John Kenza & 4EverfreeBrony – Warm | Future Bass / Pop Rock
There are times when you listen to track, and it leaves you speechless and your emotions are doing all of the talking. Warm is one of those songs, rare songs that comes out in this fandom and it is the epitome of musical perfection. It’s unique in the matter of how John’s EDM harmonizes with absolute amazement with the Pop-Rock and lyrics of 4EverfreeBrony. It’s beautiful and well composed with the energy of John’s harmonies and that gorgeous guitar work of 4EB! The song is crafted with such a wholesome message that everything blends and flows. Sprinkling with a little disney-esque orchestra harmonies and you have a song that will bring you to tears. One of the most breathtaking tracks I have heard in the Brony fandom! And it’s only track 2 of P@D Ignite. As always this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Studio Quinn – Second Place, A Trixie Song (feat. Sea Cream) | Pop Rock
Studio Quinn (previously known as M2the3rd) keeps delivering heartfelt songs, this one being about Trixie and those who don’t always come out on top. The lyrics are from a poem by Sea Cream and the instrumental Studio Quinn created for them could not be more fitting. The sweet piano playing impresses strong emotions and is later joined by drums and strings in the second chorus. A guitar even makes an appearance in the last quarter of the song. Carried by the delicate singing are the same feelings of being overshadowed by peers.
Burning Gryphon – Deevoted To Dee Artist | Pop Punk
WE have a brand new member to join the brony punk rock family. Everyone, this is Burning Gryphon. Please give him a warm welcome. Because he has some pretty good music making talent. What a nice way to show off your talent by making a tribute to a fellow artist that has inspired him to do better things. This song at it core has the grungy hard nosed dirty guitar work. Plus the pace that most punk rock fans will love and will know right away when they hear it. The drums and bass are there loud and clear. His vocals are full of love and heart as it should be. Burning Gryphon is lovely in his singing to the brony artist known as Dripponi. Who helped mold him into the person he is today. His lyrics fondly showcase that devotion in this hard and fast punk rock ballad. Give this guy a follow on his youtube channel, he’s just getting started. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
VocallegraEnby – Stay Here Forever | Electropop
Something quick and sugary for the fandom. Stay Here Forever features the vocal talents of the Vocaloid Avanna who sings about how the fandom has impacted our lives (or you could interpret it as the mane 6 singing about how they’ve left their mark on Equestria) with a lovely melody and soothing electronic backing. Songs about our fandom never cease to be a joy to the ear!
Acouste Wholenote – Stuck | Pop Punk
Acouste Wholenote returns with a song about Roseluck, a song in which the lyrics speak a story of persistence. This rustic alternative piece reminds me a ton of some of the older rock music in this community’s history. That and the melancholic sound consequently makes this song abundantly nostalgic for me. Blue emotions bleed through easily with this bittersweet pop-punk piece, and I do hope that Acouste Wholenote makes more music in the weeks to come.
Ampderg – Lost | Electropop
Musicians newer in the fandom have something veterans more often lack: the ability to surprise us. Ampderg just gave us a real banger here. The song consists of pop sections that clash with exulting hard-hitting drops. The pop parts are very dancy and in particular the bassline is highly catchy. Twilight vocal chops are found throughout the song and the vocals and lyrics from Ampderg are a delight too. The Vylet Pony inspiration is palpable in most aspects of the song. The beautiful artwork and the video are by Ampderg as well and constitute integrant parts of the piece.
Daniel Ingram – The Magic of Friendship Grows (Notion Remix) | Electro Pop
The variations of the final song of the series finale keeps rolling in and doesn’t appear to be slowing down. The Brony Notion comes in with a remix with wonderfully done editing the show strong feelings visually. Showing just how the mane six really means to all of us. The remix itself, has the flavor of electro-pop with just a dash 80’s pop music, if you know what to listen for. His main course is still part of the analysis community. But he can still make a good tune here and there. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
