St.Pinkie – Landing Gear | Piano / R&B

Coming from the fundraising compilation album realized by Crystal Empire Records for SEAPonyCon – Altitude. St.Pinkie sings with emotion to everyone who lost a friend. The instrumental is really emotional with the piano and the drums mixed with the orchestral elements, makes this song a true R&B sound that reminds me of some of the popular acts of this years that mixed this genre with the Pop genre. The lyrics are really emotional and really fit to the theme that the description of the video says and St. Pinkie sing this with passion and emotion! It almost brought up me to tears because of recent passings of Kavi, Woody (Malaysian cosplayer), MelodicPony, Beebarb and Pinkus Pone. May they souls rest in peace and what St.Pinkie did was really emotional, thank you for this dedication to this people that contributed soo much to the fandom! Buy Altitude in Crystal Empire Records bandcamp! (This song is free to download because of the cause).

[P@D] Homage – Free (feat. FritzyBeat) | Electro Pop

With inspiration from Wooden Toaster’s music, Homage and FritzyBeat have put something short and sweet together that definitely reflects Toaster’s style. The bassline is bright and clean cut, and it pairs well with the upper register elements. The chord progression is simple, but it also is interestingly well-put together in context, especially with the vocals, which sound exactly like how Wooden Toaster made his, which is a job well done on Homage and Fritzy’s part. But here’s a final question: are the lyrics referring to Sweetie Bot? The world may never know.

Check it out on P@D’s “Guardians” here!

JOSHH – Our Friendship Was A Lie | Electronic Pop

JOSHH gives us a wonderful song about Luna talking to Celestia as she turns into Nightmare Moon! As the song progresses you can hear the backing instrumental and the lyrics change as Luna slowly becomes more evil. I love the feeling of regret and hatred that is prevalent throughout the song thanks to JOSHH’s wonderful vocals.

Crystal Slave – Coming Home | Electronic Pop

Well, he is back! I never expected that he could return to the fandom, but Crystal Slave is back! And his comeback song is really uplifting, emotional, sweet and chill! An electronic pop ballad with some really meaningful and deep lyrics, it almost brought up me to tears when the drop arrive, it really gave me chills down my spine!

And this new Crystal Slave new song shows the Glitch Hop approach to give more dynamic sounds to his pop sound, danceable, uplifting, emotional and catchy! WELCOME BACK CRYSTAL SLAVE!

4EverfreeBrony – Don’t Run Away (feat. Lil’ Miss Everfree) | Acoustic Pop

4Everfree is back with another release from his Silhouette Games album, and this time it’s a collaboration with his younger sister Lil’ Miss Toto! There’s some fantastic vocals from 4Everfree through the first half, before his sister takes over for a bit – and she’s pretty good too! The instrumental has some lovely piano in amongst the other staples for this kind of music, and overall it’s a great piece.

MathematicPony – You’ve Got Magic | R&B / Pop

After 1 year of inactivity on Mathematic’s channel, she returns with this amazing electropop tune! Her vocals are really amazing and the piano chords remind me of Vocal Jazz tracks and the drum work makes the typical Alternative R&B beat makes even better. This song reminds me of artists such as Alessia Cara, Troye Sivan and Frank Ocean that makes incredible R&B with electropop feels. The song is really catchy and the lyrics are really meaningful. Talking about friendship and support, Mathematic does a really emotional and awesome speech to the pony fandom in the description of the video and even said that daspacepony help her to come back to the pony music! Mathematic, I missed your songs. Welcome back and hope you stay with us!

Sable Symphony – Monday Blues (cover) | Pop-Rock

I’ve not actually seen any of the EQG Summertime Shorts, but I don’t imagine this counts as any kind of spoiler ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The poppy original version of this songs transfers really well into a guitar-based song though, and Sable’s voice really packs a punch in the choruses!

PrinceWhateverer – Constellations (Redux feat. Cadie) | Melodic Metalcore / Trancecore

PrinceWhateverer returns with a redux of one of his best songs – Constellations! The King of Brony Melodic Metalcore invited one of my favorite female singers of the moment Cadie for making the beautiful vocals in the breakdown! And her vocals are really sweet and chilling!

Talking about vocals, Prince’s vocals are also pretty good! I really loved his vocal songs, it reminds me of that Melodic Metalcore acts that only have clean vocals aka Scene Punk. The instrumental is the same as the previous song but has a better mastering and mixing! And one thing I love in the instrumental along with the trancecore classical electronic elements, the guitar riffs are really well done. The breakdown is one of the highest points in the instrumental, not just because of the progression to the synths, but because of the drumming! Also the robotic vocals used in some parts are also really awesome, Prince really wanted to do a Trancecore tune! This one rocks! \m/

4EverfreeBrony – Sometimes (feat. Aviators) | Orchestral Pop

Here’s a real interesting story 4everfreebrony’s got to serve while you get some music to listen to along the way! It comes with a great array of melodies and vocals as the main course of the song. It’s definitely a good tune to listen to if you’re into songs that have an amazing story behind it (of course every song does but this one is sure to top the rest).

Crystal Slave – Falter (Flittzy Remix/Cover) | Alternative Pop

Heartfelt music is the best, and here our beloved Flittzy delivers a meaningful cover/remix of a meaningful song to him, and that definitely adds another layer of appreciation to the reborn Falter. Taking on one of the most unique singers that the community has seen, Crystal Slave aka ReuelBrony (who has unfortunately deleted his whole channel), is no easy feat, yet the power of emotion and the strong feelings that Flittzy nurtured for the original certainly played a part in resulting in wonderful new vocals from the composer and singer who also gave a new arrangement to the song that, like many of Crystal Slave’s original works, has very deep lyrics and relatable messages for those who shared the same kind of experiences.
