MC-Arch – The Bridge. (Its Ok.) | Hip-Hop

MC-Arch has always been very open about his emotions through his music and this track is no different. In The Bridge, he raps about how it is ok not to be ok and uses a new trap beat to get his point across. The song includes some awesome Fluttershy vocal chops as an accompaniment to Arch’s vocals which makes for an incredible counterpoint to the verses. The title is chosen amazingly too, as we are reminded of the importance not tp burning bridges, but gather up the strength and cross them instead.

Hay Tea brings the funk here with a super groovy remix of bank pain’s Sunset Shimmer tune Sunny’s Theme. Making excellent use of vocal samples from the original, the percussion throughout the track is top notch and the synths in the track work perfectly to give some strong vibes throughout the track, not to mention the lovely piano work.

Suskii – Stealth (feat. Kozmos) | Dubstep

Suskii’s new Changeling-themed EP Bugsquad Pt. 2 is out now in full force, and this track featuring vocals from Kozmos showcases it pretty well. Kozmos’ rapping builds the track up to a heavy dubstep drop that, like most of Suskii’s tracks, has a distinctly insectoid feel to it, before a powerful melodic break that leads into more wubs.

Vylet Pony – Destiny Station | Hip-Hop

👏 VYLET’S 👏 GOT 👏 A 👏 NEW 👏 ALBUM 👏 and this is one of the first songs released from it. The album “is a story about two witch ponies in somewhat of an alternate Universe from the canon MLP storyline”. Stylistically speaking, it seems to be a culmination of sorts of the Indie Pop and Lo-Fi paths that Vylet’s been moving along these past few months. So pretty much cute, chill, and extremely pleasant to listen to. Check out Destiny Station and if you like it, try out the whole album too!

mikuma feat. Namii – Sad Hors Hours (N. Hollow Remix) | Future R&B / Lo-Fi Hip Hop

Wonder rapper and pony lyrics guru N. Hollow felt inspired after hearing the amazing Sad Hors Hours from mikuma and friends, and it’s so cool to get this alternate version of the song with new vocal and instrumental greatness! Expanding on the fresh and smooth vibes from the original, and featuring Namii‘s amazing original verse, the remix makes N. Hollow’s vocal talents shine once again!

DJT and R3CTIFIER always produce awesome stuff when they collaborate, though this one’s a bit different to their previous collaborations. Featuring some excellent rapping from N. Hollow, this trap tune packs a lot of a punch, with clean and aggressive sound design helping to showcase the desolate nature of the Fallout Equestria world.

Vylet Pony – Hold on Before I Forget | Indie Pop

Vylet’s gentle works from his Tales From Equestria album continue, and this one has a pretty strong focus on his vocals. They come across pretty emotional and sultry here, with some great use of reverb in the instrumental to add some heavy feeling to it. The backing vocals also add another layer of depth.

[P@D] mikuma – Sad Hors Hours (feat. Melody Sky, MC-Arch, Acarcion, Mylo the Kidd & Namii) | Future R&B / Lo-Fi Hip Hop

This is my jam! Sweet Sax Music, a great R&B composition done by mikuma! A tune coming from the most recent P@D album Rebirth, that feature the rap talents of Melody Sky, MC-Arch and Acarcion and the gorgeous vocal talent of Namii! The chill/futuristic and almost lo-fi beat melts my heart, the lyrics and the verses are well written and performed (from what I’ve heard in the P@D stream every vocalist did their verse in a free theme). Namii vocals were soo good that they melted my heart, MC-Arch singing the lyrics with such emotion touched me too! And Acarcion, Melody Sky and Mylo the Kidd did some really awesome rap with awesome flow and awesome lyrical content! A true ギフトfor all!

Straight From The Heart – Somethings Coming (Herd of Us) | Hip-Hop

Warning: Profanity. Quite a lot of it.

This track was a big collaboration project among several members of the brony hip-hop community. Showing that they take pride in their art, the group collectively known as “Straight from the Heart” uses this debut track to welcome all like-minded producers to their familial and always helpful musical community. Something’s Coming uses a great backing track and beat to support the excellent and diverse flow of each rapper on the track. With a broad display of talent and refreshing revival of brony hip-hop, there’s definitely a lot to be excited about for the future of the genre within the fandom!

Hay Tea – Ante Up | Hip-Hop

The power of HipHop. Raw, Pure, and Straight to the Point. Hay tea bringing it up once again. (Loving the title though) With this Beat entering you within the atmosphere of the Wasteland. (Mostly well known for Fallout.) The Beat, the vibe, and everything ele. masterfully done. 🙂 The speech in the beginning also really intrique me to support the Message behind this track. Even if it seems so hidden. “You devote yourself to spending every second trying to get Better. despite the fact that it’ll never be enough.” But you know what? Maybe it doesn’t have to be Enough.
