Inspired by ForeverFreest’s solo version of Like Vinyl, and by great Nu Metal bands, SDreamExplorerS produced his own rocking cover of the song in a record amount of time, further proving his talent and love for making music. ForeverFreest’s vocals made the perfect playground for the aggressive guitar riffs and drums play we love in Nu Metal, and this whole cover is a real nostalgic delight we didn’t know we needed. Also a short announcement video about SDreamExplorerS’ future projects has been uploaded on the channel!
The FF team went all-out for Ponies at Dawn Anthology (Flittzy and Faulty, not Final Fantasy…) and the result is a breathtaking and amazing Pop Rock track combining catchy and epic guitar riffs with the delightful and charismatic vocals Flittzy is known for. The overall happy and adventurous mood conveys an awesome dash of pony spirit that is so welcome, and the whole track is quite a masterpiece gracing the album!
Everyone’s getting on the Rainbow cover train, and the more the merrier if you ask me! This one from EnergyTone and Tooi keeps some of the poppy feel of the original but showcases Energy’s acoustic instrumentation and introduces the fantastic vocals of Tooi. Really loving the vocals and I hope we get to hear more of Tooi’s singing in the future!
Osoch’s on a roll, and he went all-out with this cover of Open Up Your Eyes that is my favorite cover of that very emotional song from the movie. Displaying mighty Metal vocals, as well as masterful guitar play and drums, it covers the original so beautifully and powerfully even in the hardest parts. As for the “backstory” part, it is interpreted here in such a blissful way reminding of Prog Rock. A masterpiece of a cover and a token of Osoch’s talent, who I’m sure will keep rising in the pony music scene!
The movie’s emotional finale song by Sia gets the special treatment from Sable Symphony who delivers a cover graced by his signature vocals. Staying true to the spirit of the original while still imprinting the cover with his own rocking spin, the musician displays a high vocal range and pays much tribute to a song that moved many of us, may it be from Sia’s gorgeous vocals or from the very deep and meaningful lyrics.
Amazing performance by Przewalski’s Ponies featuring the bass playing by SDreamExplorerS! The song was played with a lot of energy and stage attitude! Singing the song in Polish, makes this live performance even better! I love when people use other languages instead of English! Every member of the band had a lot of energy! Velvet vocals are amazing live and the rap section of Andy is pure awesomeness! The instrumentation done by SDreamExplorerS, 4/3 and Gliss it’s also pretty well played live! Everyone did an awesome job on this live performance and I’m glad that you find someone to record it! Amazing song, amazing performance and amazing band!
Elias’ second cover of a movie song pays tribute to the uplifting Time to be Awesome, that (spoiler alert) got Captain Celaeno and the other sky pirates to find back their will to be their true selves again. Those very aerial and “Airship-like” melodies are so beautifully covered here and hearing them in a brand new arrangement along Metal riffs is so blissful, and as always Elias’ vocals are rockin’ it!
Ponifications are always so awesome to get, and we can always count on Soren Ember to display his great Classic Rock taste, this time bringing a ponification of the ever-so-classic Johnny B. Goode. Inviting Protocat on the piano once again, Soren delivers a mighty cover with lovely Applejack-themed lyrics, and I like to imagine this being performed in one of the barns of Sweet Apple Acres, transformed into a modest concert hall for the occasion!

Soren Ember and Protocat return to amaze me with this rocking track! Parodying and making tribute to the great legend and innovator Chuck Berry (rest in peace), Soren and Protocat make a really dancing and awesome tribute. The track that talks about Applejack and Apple Acres, it’s really amazing, with a nice vocal performance and a great instrument performance by Soren and a great organ performance done by Protocat! Protocat and Soren knows dat Boogie Woogie! The lyrics re-invention to the pony theme was pretty well made, and then that guitar solos/riffs and the vocals are the thing that really overthrows everything on the song! Good job, both of you! Keep rocking the free world and keep making awesome tributes to great persons!

The title of this roughly translates to “Feel The Wings” (thanks Google), and from what I can gather, it’s about believing in yourself and having the determination to do anything. Of course, with a strong hint of ScootaDash in there too for good measure!
