It’s always so good to get some honest and gritty Alt/Indie rock, you get to see the core of rock spirit more closely, and Vivix certainly delights with this Starlight-themed track. I’ve been wishing for this to happen ever since I fell in love with Dashie’s mom, and Forest Rain & Friends made it happen. It was truly only a matter of time until Pony1Kenobi’s classic got adapted to Windy Whistles’ charm and especially in light of her rocketing popularity among the community. Now it’s finally time to rock out to our new anthem definitely full of talent and awesome rocking vibes, as we passionately browse Derpibooru or other image boards in search of more Windy Whistles material and fine art.
Definitely among the most powerful pieces from Elias Frost in my opinion, this new release has a quite interesting and deep concept, and delivers a top-notch musical interpretation over an amazing progression of many wonders. I’m especially a fan of the ice-y plucks and the guitar melodies during the solo, it’s quite emotional, and expertly done too!
I just love the theme and the lyrics of this song so much! Another pre-release from the upcoming album Erasing the Enigma, Ghosts tells the relatable tale of introspecting and moving on from your past while being treated as an outcast. Marvelously connecting to Trixie’s character depth and laying out a powerful story through the beautiful lyrics and powerful Metal vocals, the track delivers much emotion as instrumental, vocals and feelings are all connecting to create an amazing and emotional tribute to Trixie infused with deep meanings.
SDreamExplorerS, also known as SoulStrings, continues his magnificent streak with the second track of his new album, Erasing the Enigma: “The First Alicorn” is a dramatic MeloDeath choon that explores deep historical headcanons and will certainly pump you up. Massively energetic riffs and vocals, backed by SDES’ ever improving production, will provide the one of the finest metal experiences in the fandom thus far. Brace yourselves for this everypony!! Mane In Green truly outdid himself with this one long progressive track infused with a story and delivering a variety of genres to create an epic musical Journey. It has many different instrumental parts reflecting perfectly each part of the story, with fitting instruments and rythm, and telling the story that’s written in the description so well. Over its breathtaking progression, the track will blow you away with epic melodies, guitar riffs, and fusions of genres all around, with Orchestral, Metal, Folk, and even Electronic all finding a share. Overall, The Journey is a masterpiece of story-driven, OST-like music, as well as a token of Mane In Green’s wonderful talent and vision, that will, I’m sure, continue to delight us in the future. I’m getting teary-eyed while relistening to the track and writing this, and I can’t thank Mane In Green enough for his magnificent work and how accurately it blissfully feels like Soundtrack. Long live OST, music, and Passion!
Arkineer, formerly known as Senjan, is back with a new OST piece he made for the fan game Adventure of the Lunarbolts, and this time it’s a remix of one of the BGM tracks from the show, Applejack’s Speech! Giving a wonderful new life to the amazing track by beloved composer William Anderson, the remix could be considered a spiritual successor to InfinityDash’s BGM remixes from 6 years ago, and doesn’t fail to pay tribute to the lovely melodies of the original, with an awesome new accompaniment and progression. Long live OST!

This time made in tribute to the epic comic Timey Wimey and the first track of the upcoming album Erasing the Enigma, the heavy and blissful song delivers fast drums, gritty riffs and wonderful guitar melodies reminding of bands like Children of Bodom, along a storytelling and awesome vocals reminding of bands like In Flames, for a deeply enjoyable and emotional result.
