One Track Mind – Piece Myself Together | Piano

Piece myself together. A fitting title for a Fitting melody Imo. And quite frankly, I can really relate too. as I myself am still trying to piece myself Together. Its human we make misstakes, but we learn of humanity when we cope with those misstakes. Celestia banishing Luna to the moon for a thousand years must’ve had a horrible impact on her Mental state. (But thank fate the story had a happy ending regarding that.)
It’ll never cease to amaze me though, how a story such as this involving non humans still feels the most human. And I take full pride and saying I recognise and feel this feeling. ❤ Well done Track, everybody show some love!

Vylet Pony – Sailing Away | Chillout

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 9 August 2018.

Another track from Vylet’s recently released Aloe & Lotus EP, this chilled out track has some gorgeous vocals provided by him, including some really nice layering every now and then to add some depth. The instrumental is full of cool vibes and the lof-fi percussion fits in especially well.

Daniel Ingram – The Spectacle (Superplastic Remix) | Hardstyle

Aaaand we have another comeback! The name may not sound familiar, but the artist formerly known as Addictia has made a return with one of the best hardstyle tunes I’ve heard in a while, fandom or otherwise. Featured are some intriguing background vocal chops, creative percussion, lovely synths and great tension, and a cathartic hardstyle drop with a fine, fine kick! To top it all off, the drop’s melody is insanely catchy. A lot of ponies have been waiting for a great hardstyle remix of The Spectacle and I’m happy to say it has arrived!

Brilliant Venture- Celestial Summit VIP | Electro House

Brilliant Venture is finally back! His last release, Moved On, was featured on Cider Party and is a very personal and emotional song. However, he wasn’t inactive due to a lack of inspiration. Far from it, he was preparing ten (count ’em, ten) unreleased tracks for premiere at TrotCon (his set was wonderful, by the way!), and this is the first to go up online. Whereas Moved On dealt with his personal life struggles, Celestial Summit VIP is a pseudo-remix of Celestia’s Ballad from season 3’s finale, sampling it heavily through vocal chops and otherwise. It retains the emotion and the energetic wubs from Moved On, fans will be happy to discover. As usual, Brilliant Venture also draws heavily from the music and overall vibes of the old brony fandom. A treat for any fan of the original or Celestia junkie!

Daniel Ingram – Open Up Your Eyes (Notion Remix) | Future Bass / House

YOU’RE WATCHING IN
~   W I D E S C R E E N   F O R M A T   ~

Not content with just one genre, Notion’s put his spin on Tempest’s famous solo piece with a blend of house and future bass. While it’s a shame we still can’t get properly isolated vocals for the track, the concept behind this remix is really interesting and a pretty unique take on the song!

Brilliant Venture – Moved On (Brilliant Venture -n- AppleBukker vs. Changelings Remix) | Chiptune

Taking inspiration from a fantastic Cider Party track as well as paying tribute to his great friend, AppleBukker gives us this cunning, fun remix of Brilliant Venture’s Moved On. The original track utilized a synth which AB shrewdly recognized as a brilliant chiptune lead. This remix has the fantastic sound design of an 8-bit RPG battle soundtrack, and is made even better knowing that it meant so much to AppleBukker that he got to revisit his chiptune roots with a remix of his good buddy’s song. Pieces like this really hit home the fact that Friendship is Magic.

Wootmaster – Little by Little | Hip-Hop

I’m normally very skeptical of Rappers who take on Classic beats and then spit over it, but Wootmaster went ABOVE and BEYOND that! Legit, this is a Banger. If you’re a Veteran within this Fandom and see/know about the Scene and how it all went / how it all is today… You’re gonna feel this. Legit, Upon listening to this again while doing the write-up I teared up. I’ll even go as far to say this Track is **THE** Rap release within the Brony fandom of the Year! I legit hope to see this go Big, Because Wootmaster deserves it! A true loyalist, Defender, and Representative of how magical, powerfull, and real it all can be within the Fandom! everybody show some love to Woot! ❤
Real hiphop, Don’t you ever forget it, its that underground shit, and its the woot that said it! skippe de flippe spiritual miracle lyrical individual

Quicksilver – Best Friends Until the End of Time (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Hard Rock

After returning to pony music, Quicksilver has been extremely active with both originals and some great covers, like this one! The vocals are the original ones, but Quicksilver’s guitar tones are as killer as ever and the percussion in the second verse is incredibly fresh. The video includes footage from this past BronyCon, very fitting of the original theme of the song! Take a listen if you’re into all-around solid show song covers.

[ASOS] Brohoof Studios & Dreamtech – Alone (feat. Haymaker) | Synthwave

Well now, Hoofy just keeps on improving his production, eh? Always fond of retro aesthetics, he went totally synthwave with this one. He and Dreamtech’s production, especially during the drop, is lush and features some gorgeous chords. However, Haymaker really steals the show here. His delivery is sublime as always and conveys the somber tone of the song excellently (something he’s shown he’s great at on the legendary Luna’s Ruse). Check it and the rest of A State of Sugar’s Bubblegum out above!

Ditherer – Love Trouble (feat. Doodled) (TCB Remix) | Hybrid Trap

WARNING: NSFW LYRICS Where to even begin with this one. I’ve been at Bronycon showing this song to some very prominent figures in horse music, and they all had the same dropped jaw when they heard this. The beginning of this remix has is reminiscent of a Migos song, then shifts to something very Middle Eastern-influenced (something I personally have missed in trap music). Ditherer has proven himself to be the fandom’s premiere lyricist after only a few months and it shows here. He spits multis on multis, and the verse, like most of his music, feels very deliberate. And what’s he rapping about? Horse poon. Same goes for Doodled, who starts his verse off with some outrageous Auto-Tune and transitions to a highly catchy refrain. That hook immediately leads to the awe-inspiring drop, proving TCB still is one of the most underrated fandom musicians to ever do it. Doodled is no slouch on the mic either, however. His cool delivery and flow is effortless and also has some very intriguing rhyme schemes throughout his verse. A song for true flank lovers only.
