Been quite a while since I heard something like this from the fandom. Is this a Ponies at Dawn release or is this a Monstercat release? Honestly, I couldn’t really tell if you just played this track without telling me that it’s pony themed. In fact, I would be like, “No way, you are kidding me.”
Seriously, fandom music has grown so much over the years. Maybe I’m just out of the loop for too long but this outstanding Complextro track from Quadrivia and MEQA really blew my mind. It’s got all the chops (pun intended) of electro house and glitch hop, which means it’s super dance-able and sounds not just what you would expect but more: a piece of electrifying ear candy. Give it a listen, it’s sure to get your heart pumping in no time.
Also while we’re at it, you should totally check out Ponies at Dawn’s new album, Eternal! If this is the standard we’re going off on, it is on track to be one of the best albums ever put out by the label.

[P@D] Tripon – Spells of Ruin (feat. J. Free) | Roller Drum & Bass
Tripon never fails to impress when they release a new track and as part of Ponies At Dawn’s latest album Eternal, this one is bound to be a treat! Right from the start the hollow minimalist percussion and deep subs catch your attention. The rolling bassline and atmospheric soundscapes are expertly crafted and J. Free‘s inclusion adds an exciting twist to the track with half time flow and a dirty vibe. If you haven’t checked out the rest of the album by now, I highly encourage you to do so, as there are plenty of gems within and this one is a well polished one!
Daniel Ingram – Being Big is All It Takes (Rod Steven Remix) | Eurobeat
Not going to lie, I have a huge weak spot for Eurobeat. I started my horse journey with Eurobeat Brony and I am so happy to hear another Eurobeat remix before the fandom loses its steam. The stabs, the synth solo and the energy, it’s just so upbeat and cheery. The song is already swinging to begin with, this takes that euphoric emotion for a drift around the town. Go ahead and have a listen, you will not regret it. Kudos to Rod Steven for this wonderful remix!
Dizzy Inmotion – Dance For Me | Hip-Hop
This groovy track brought to you by Dizzy Inmotion is like hanging out a tavern with a fireplace after a long day. You’re sipping booze with your best mates, hitting up the bartender and staring blankly at the live singer on stage with his deadpan drummer in the background. Over in the corner of your blurring vision, you see the resident dancer getting ready to get on stage, so you shout to her, your semi-drunken voice echoing throughout the dimly lit tavern, “Hey girl! Dance for me!”
It’s a song about getting laid, basically, like every other hip-hop songs. However, I do like the soundscape the artist built for your imagination. If you ever played as Primrose in Octopath Travelers, you will know what I’m talking about. Anyway, you will not be disappointed when you click the play button. Great job, Dizzy!
Toby Macarony – Sun Chaser | Drum & Bass
Toby definitely did amazing incorporating those DnB beats into his signature style, for this new track about Sun Chaser part of the Wonderbolts series! Beautiful melodies are painting such a gorgeous twilight scenery to reward the hard-working pony after a good day of training, and an even more uplifting part near the end makes for a perfect finale!
Tw3Lv3 – Running In Apple Acres (feat. Power Note) | Liquid Drum & Bass
This beauty part of Tw3Lv3‘s Harmony EP has got such a blissful atmosphere, with cute and relaxing melodies being completed by clean DnB beats, and with Applejack’s voice resonating all throughout the track! And with that wub-powered surprise at the end, this track is definitely very creative! Such a lovely initiative, and the duo did absolute wonders!
Frozen Night – Zenith (feat. Velvet R. Wings) | Hybrid Orchestral
Frozen Night and Velvet R. Wings teamed up for this continuation of Ivory’s story, that depicts such an epic aerial battle further represented by the cover art! Epic choirs are followed by Velvet’s incredible vocals that give the battle such a grand musical interpretation, along the intense composition that showcases Frozen Night’s talent once more. Part of a concept album dropping November 7th!
Kallo Skull – This Magic is Forever | Orchestral
A wonderful tribute, this new composition by Kallo Skull is calling back to several show songs that you’ll recognize, and spreads such a lovely message! With such heartfelt fan works being made, the magic sure is forever! Join the musician in this tender moment of nostalgia and reflection on the path traveled, though the winds and strings!
Tridashie & Billy Rex – Pony Girl (feat. IMShadow007 & Brittney Ackerman) (PONE117 Remix) | Drum & Bass
This remix of Pony Girl breathes new life into the awesome Tridashie animation from two years ago, with wonderful Drum & Bass music being added, and voice clips from the original being reworked in, ultimately making for a fantastic remix!
[P@D] Nevermourn & TCB – Ever | Drum n’ Bass
It wouldn’t be a P@D album without a collab now, would it? Track 25 from Eternal, we have a track with contributions from Nevermourn and TCB, who came together to create an amazing DnB piece filled to the brim with deep synths and infectious vocal chops from the CMCs. The midway point sees a transition to the brilliant DnB atmosphere to a brooding orchestral one seamlessly before eventually going back to the familiar CMC territory. Easily one of the album’s highlights!
