Hoofy is back with a heavy hitting VIP of their already great track, ‘Shattered Gems’! This one infuses the already dirty song with even filthier basses and gives off a hell of a lot of energy, especially by the time the second half rolls around, switching things up with an energetic psytrance twist that blends perfectly with the rest of the track. A stellar tune and it deserves its spot as a pre-release for Ponies At Dawn’s newest album: Ignite, which just so happens to be available now!

Alex S. – Party With Pinkie (D3LTA Remix) | Dubstep
Sometimes musicians underestimate the power of influence and inspiration. Influence and inspiration may be the most powerful elements in music overall. Influence most definitely drove this reimagining of Alex S.’s song “Party with Pinkie” by D3LTA, as proven by the recreation of the vocals and transcription of the composition by D3LTA’s own hand. With the skeleton of Alex S.’s song, D3LTA has crafted two refreshing drops with recent dubstep influences. This beautiful remix shows true dedication!
Pernegyre – Discordant Chaos | Hardcore
What time is it? Hardcore time! This most recent release from Pernegyre on Equestrian Terror Corps introduces itself with breaks and kicks that have a classic hardcore flavor. Acting as the backbone of the track, they’re accompanied by the trance-like melodies of the keys and supersaws. An ambient interlude leads the song to one final chorus before ultimately resolving. Another great song off of ETC!
Daniel Ingram – Celestia’s Ballad (Snow Swirl Remix) | Chillout / Future Garage
Snow Swirl has done something really nice here with Celestia’s Ballad. Its a very spacey and airy take on a classic by combining elements of chillout and future garage. The result being something very soothing to the soul with a nice peppering of soulful grit. An excellent job and I’m excited to see where this artist goes from here!
[P@D] PSFMer – Wonders | Liquid Drum & Bass
In a surprise twist, Drumscape Library have provided another prerelease track from Ponies at Dawn: Ignite, this one being the 67th track, Wonders! Primarily known for his SFM animations, PSFMer has recently started dabbling in music, particularly drum & bass. Wonders is exactly that, and has an amazing atmosphere with Fluttershy’s emotional vocal chops and a drum beat that doesn’t overwhelm the mood. Look out for Ignite later today!
StrachAttack & Zaktt – Infrared VIP | Midtempo
A big blast from the past; StrachAttack and Zaktt‘s red hot banger Infrared returns in VIP form! This new rendition is slower than the original, but it’s by no means lost its edge. Plenty of powerful midtempo elements are peppered in, like the powerfully heavy bass and trippy synths in the background. It’s amazing what a difference 5 years can make!
Nyancat380 – Ritual | Riddim Dubstep / Deathstep
This song is straight out of Nyancat380’s dark side. The two drops this song comprises are absolutely mind blowing. They scream aggressiveness, with sounds of metal being ripped apart, screeches galore and no fear of saturation. This song takes place in the small somber and obscure story that is told across multiple videos on Nyancat380’s channel that one has to decipher to fully understand.
StableTwoStallion – Fallout Equestria | Industrial Gothic Metal
Woah. Brace yourself! This FoE-inspired thrash track is heavy and hits hard! STS has been pumping out industrial tracks for years and is no stranger to going heavy with the powerful distorted guitars, thumpin’ drums, and eerie vocal chants in the background. StableTwoStallion explains that Fallout Equestria is “inspired by Rammstein and Oomph” and lead vocals reflect that comparison in every good way! As an added bonus – this song is entirely in German which personally just makes it all the more epic!
Luna Ticks – Gamer Girl [Horses IRL #7] | Ska Punk
The power team of Francis Vace and Quicksilver are back at it again with a great punk track all about Equestria’s best gamer princess. The Luna Ticks are known for making the highest quality ska punk music in the fandom and Gamer Girl mixes in a great blend of ska sections with straight pop punk and even a slower interlude. The changing styles allows a great emotional transition from the energetic gaming, to the playful personality, to the sentimental, titular character. The video editing is excellent, allowing the personalities of both members to shine through. Do yourself a favor and check out these guys immediately.
Kallo Skull – A Kind Heart of Nature | Orchestral/Celtic
Just in time for Fluttershy Day, Kallo Skull brings us A Kind Heart of Nature! This track gives us a glimpse into what feels like a trip outside into the wilderness with Equestria’s best animal lover. Different instruments make up for representations of different animals, such as the flute, timpani and even bagpipes. Nothing sounds more naturistic and organic than an orchestral ensemble!
