Instrumentals are wonderful pieces of music. They are pieces of music you don’t have to use lyrics to tell your story, your message, or the emotion you’re trying to emote. For this it’s emotion. Especially if you love a certain sky blue pegasus. Rainbow Dash is a character that inspires people like myself who have had issues believing in themselves. This music by Jyc Row lights a fire inside of you when you been beaten down and dragged through the mud by life. It starts much like that. Then the Melody grows and builds into this mightly theme that screams confidence. For myself, I picture my growth as a person, brony and a fighter. I picture RD landing next to me, Inspiring me like she does, to get up and don’t quit! The song makes you feel like she is there with you, Telling you that you can win!. You find yourself finding a way to overcome the odds! Not bad for making this in an hour or less Jyc Row. This song much like Dashie’s song in the MLP movie, Makes you inspired for greatness. Koron Korak – City Sky Lines | Soundtrack
Koron always has an interesting track to bring to the table and City Sky Lines is no exception! It breathes an authentic early 90s cyberpunk arcade game from its fast pace, gritty analog basslines and leads and the visuals are spot on as well! While fairly repetitive (as is the nature of such opening themes) there is enough changes and progression going on throughout to be engaging an interesting and I really have to appreciate what they went for with this piece!
MC-Arch & SoftieShy (Fluttershy) – Lullaby. | Pop Ballad

It’s an honor to do these promotions for fellow colleagues of Horse Music Herald. MC-Arch’s music is not simply Hip-Hop. The man has a set of pipe and very much invokes the pure emotion of love in this wonderful ballad. He’s no alone as SoftieShy joins in this duet. The love for someone you care about, How it can you through the lowest points of life and gives you SOMETHING to hang onto. It’s wonderful. I don’t think a lot of bronies think that deeply into it at first until you know it’s there, This show gave people something to build on. Friendship is Magic is a building block to work with. With that building block can make a lot of wonderful things happen. Like finding love. This song so much points out what love can build into. Arch and SoftieShy words are so beautiful on touching into that. Folks honesty keep an eye on MC-Arch, I and my other colleagues love him for a reason. This Qilin knows this to be true without any doubt.
Koa – Broken Wings | Pop / Dubstep
Rainbow Factory and Awoken! A pair of songs that are a legend in their own rights. Songs that helped start the trend of grimdark storytelling within the MLP fandom. Nearly 8 years after the release of Rainbow Factory. Koa comes out with the 3rd song of this Unholy Trinity. I am not sure how you can put such disturbing feelings into the lyrics and yey have the emotion of Pop/dubstep song that you can dance too. Spiritual successor? yes. Continuity? yes. Chilling, very much. Now BronyDanceParty needs to make a video to this song! As always, This Qilin asked you to judge for yourself.
Mad Mars – BronyCon (Stacey’s Mom Parody) | Pop Rock
Mad Mars is back, and with an awesome tribute to BronyCon! So lovely seeing more pony musicians surface to gather once more as fans. This new community parody of Stacey’s Mom sure is doing wonders at bringing those uplifting and nostalgic vibes, and this rocking treat full of feelings is very appreciated!
J. Free – Big Mac (AJ Young Remix) (Parody of Boss by Lil Pump) | Hip-Hop

When it comes to hip-hop. I like my rap to have some kind of a style to it. Listening to my colleague J.Free for the first time. He fits the bill. The delivery of his rhymes is hard, fast and powerful. The newly remixed beat really backs this up with a boost of aggression. The lyrics themselves are full of all kinds of pony puns. His OC daring every creature in the evergreen forest to mess with him, and all Tartarus breaking loose when he shows up a party. This Parody of Lil’ Pump’s boss is kinda wild thanks in part of AJ’s remix of J.free’s original. Fun. smack-talking hip-hop, pony style! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
SKRON – A New Chapter | Indie Dance
SKRON’s debut song is an utterly lovely tribute to FiM and the community and it expresses those feelings with tender vocals and a cuddly instrumental that takes you in its warm embrace! Definitely a powerful start, and I’m very much looking forward to SKRON’s future releases!
[P@D] MEQA – Hydia | Rock / Dubstep
This fandom with their creativity just keeps on blowing my mind. This track by MEQA is a very rock meets techno flavor. It’s hard with a techno punch to it. Its starts out with this classic garage rock. Then the dubstep violently comes in with that sound and does not let up. In between, you got some cool symbol Melody and drum work. Before that hard electric Melody slaps you right the face. P@D is the home the musical diversity of this fandom for a reason. Decide for yourself as I always ask.
Aelipse – The Old and the New | Orchestral
Master Aelipse is back, and looks like they haven’t lost their hooves at making such emotion-inducing, story-telling music! This one is about the beginning of a new chapter for the community, reflected in Twilight having to say goodbye to Golden Oak while planting the seeds of a bright future. Definitely a masterful and emotional composition, showing the extent of Aelipse’s talent once again!
dBPony – Risk | Hard Rock
For this first time in four years. DBPONY come speeding back into the fandom’s music scene. Another first time listening for myself. The song itself comes with a very wise life message. It’s very easy to look at your life and feel that you’re stuck. Feeling complacent. Many in this fandom felt like that before we found something like wonderful brightly colored ponies. Feeling lost until this fandom made us feel found. The fast hard rock that pounds this track sends a message. “Got for it. Take a chance.” Because you never know until you try. I can honestly say taking a chance on this fandom has brought so much joy into many of our lives. A very nice return track from DBpony.
