SYLVVER – Purple Scare | Big Room House

Today SYLVVER brings us this amazing Big Room track all about Starlight and her village. The track starts out with some vocal chops from the episode “The Cutie Map” and an excellent Big Room beat. After a bit we get into this fun build up and then jump right into the first drop. This drop is awesome–it is everything you want from a Big Room drop and more! Afterwards we get into a very fun second beat that has this really cheery vibe and quickly pumps the energy up to 120%. Once again we get vocal chops from the Mane Six before we move into the build up and yet another mind blowing drop that is just as amazing as the last. We end this wonderful track with some more vocal chops and a fantastic melody.

CAPT – HAVE A SWEET FLIGHT | Happy Hardcore

Well, this is one hell of a fun track from CAPT that will have you all jumping, so let’s get straight into it! The track starts out in full-on Happy Hardcore vibes, and soon we get this happy, upbeat kawaii-ish melody as the Happy Hardcore elements build up more and more straight into the drop! The drop is a wonderful explosion of all thing Happy and Hardcore and upbeat and kawaii, and this one lasts for a good while, even building up into a drop inside the drop, something I’ve personally only seen once before and really enjoy. The track keeps on cranking as this one mega drop continues all the way to the end and never loses its cheery, happy sound, which works surprisingly well because it’s just so much fun! We end this masterpiece of cheeriness and happiness on an outro beat that brings the whole thing to a satisfying end with one final build up straight into the end.

Harmonic Six – Nightmare Night, What a fright! | Orchestral

Here’s a fun bit of music that could have come straight from your local creepshow, and it delivers the creepy-yet-fun aura of Nightmare Night in a really fitting way setting a great tone early on. However, after a bit, the creepshow goes silent, and in its place comes an eerie piano melody accompanied first by ghostly voices and then also by some stunning strings that really fill out the song well. We ride on in chilling style until we get a slight change of melody that pumps the creepiness up to 120% before the song suddenly comes to an end.

[ASOS] MirroredReality – Oracle | Dark Trance

Today we have an awesome song off of A State of Sugar’s newest album “Eclair”, and once again MirroredReality delivers an absolute masterpiece! The track starts out with some fun Trance melodies and then does a beat switch into this gorgeous melody that is sure to mesmerize you. Suddenly, out of nowhere, comes a build up followed by an awesome drop that will get you out of your chair and jumping! The drop is followed by some more fun melodies that seem to just radiate the energy straight from the Everfree Forest, and then we get some more lead into the build up and a drop that is as fun as the one before. We end this absolute amazing masterpiece with the drop slowly fading into a fun outro melody.

Ken Ashcorp – 20 Percent Cooler (OnlyJustCrazy Remix) | Electro

Well, I certainly didn’t expect this oldschool track to get another remix, but it’s definitely a welcome surprise! OnlyJustCrazy gives this song their very own touch, and the final product is just fantastic! The remix starts out quickly and doesn’t wait long to drop us straight into the vocals, and the early beat is a calmer one that supports the vocals really well. The instrumental builds up bit by bit as the vocals subside for a moment and then come straight back in. After that the beat and melody disappear for a short while only to come back even better! What I also want to mention is that the song uses a bunch of fake build ups that don’t actually lead to drops and give the whole song a really nice feel! We end this fun ride with the entire song slowly fading out.

[ASOS] Zythiria – Far North (Skyshard Remix) | Orchestral

(Listen to the original here!)
I was speechless when I listened to this remix, ASOS: Eclair is known for its rich and deep Orchestra tracks, but WOW! this is glorious. Zythiria track that was pretty in the first place, has transformed the telling of Winter Storm’s quest to save her home. The build-up with that piano’s, strings, the beat of those war drums! That blow of those woodwinds in the background synth. It grows in pure instance power, making you want to give a war cry that you will succeed! As always, this qilin asks you to judge for yourself! Into a melody fitting for a fantasy epic movie.

Japkozjad – Emergency | Dubstep

Japkozjad decided to create a short and very fun dubstep track for this year’s Nightmare Night. The track starts out with a simple beat and some spoken lyrics courtesy of the musician himself! After the vocals end we get dropped straight into the build up in all its dubstep-y glory, and the drop is exactly what you would expect! Wonderful wubs, evil laughs, and a great melody comprise this drop of dubstep perfection, but like all good things, this song (clocking in at only a minute fifteen seconds) comes to an end (seemingly too soon) right after the drop.

Thunder Dash – Never Stop Pushing | Piano Solo

“We are the Cutie Mark Crusaders… and we’ll never stop the journey…” ~Cutie Mark Crusaders, 2011.
This quote captures the inspirational spark for Thunder Dash’s “Never Stop Pushing” – a tender, CMC-inspired lullaby.  The CMC’s long journey to obtain their cutie-marks and find their destinies is one of the most inspiring storylines in MLP.  No matter how long it took, no matter how many obstacles they had to face or what trials they had to overcome, the CMCs carried on in the face of adversity to find their true calling and help others along the way.  In fact, it turns out that their destiny was, in fact, to help others.  Isn’t that the shared destiny of us all? Although Thunder Dash’s gentle lullaby may seem incongruent with the forged-in-the-fire theme of perseverance, the idea of peaceful slumber does convey the idea of peace in the midst of life’s journey towards discovery. Soft piano and gentle ambient instrumentation in this piece send the clear message that perseverance is well worth the prize that comes at the end.  When you refuse to quit even though you feel small and insignificant, you may one day discover that your light became the candle that sparked a bonfire for many.

Sofia Carson – Glowin’ Up (Valoria Remix) | Future House

Valoria is back to flipping! Here she brings us a wonderful Future House remix of a song that doesn’t quite get the love it deserves. The track starts with just the vocals and a bit of background beat that slowly builds up until we get to the actual build up. The build up plays with the melody a lot, something I haven’t seen much but certainly enjoyed. The drop–oh, the drop is absolutely wonderful! I’ve talked a lot about different drops in different genres in my articles, and I can confidently say that this is the greatest Future House drop I have ever heard! The melody is amazing and fits perfectly with the vocals, the vocal chops are utilized beautifully, and a second beat is added that gets you hyped, jumping, and just partying! The drop ends abruptly, and we get back into a simpler beat while letting the vocals shine through some more before going straight back into the build up and another iteration of the wonderful drop. We end this fantastic track on just the drop’s secondary beat.

Vanessa Hudgens – Gonna Be My Day (Childlike Wonder Remix) | Future Bass / Future Pop

It’s another G5 remix, and this time we have a wonderful track by Childlike Wonder! The track starts out right away with this lovely beat that pulls you right into the cheery atmosphere of the song. Then, as the vocals set in, we get an awesome melody that supports them really well. As we enter the build up, the vocals of Vanessa Hudgens are joined by the stunning voice of Childlike Wonder himself! Said build up is also supported by some vocal chops that really spice up the mix, and it’s mostly driven by the vocals similarly to the original song. The drop consists of two main parts: the first part showcases a perfect combination of Future Bass and Future Pop thanks to a beautiful instrumental section, while the second part combines the instrumental with more wonderful vocals by both Ms. Hudgens and Childlike Wonder. For the “Aaaaah”, which made the original really memorable, we actually don’t get much of a beat, which is a really fitting variation for the song. Right after that the beat comes back in full swing for another build up and a slightly different drop, which again works with some vocals from Childlike Wonder himself. We end this wonderful piece on a soothing piano melody.
