Sharing and spreading the positive messages and values from MLP is what I think defines us the most as Bronies, and it’s precisely what the original song A Long Way From Equestria is about. Here wonderfully covered by Rockin’Brony & Friends, it lives on through our hearts and the newer generations of pony musicians, to shine and spread the word once more, that we Bronies are changing the world. Enjoy this spectacular, heartfelt, and emotional rendition of the song by Rockin’Brony with the help and the shared magic of Friendship of 4EverfreeBrony, Cyril The Wolf, Luck Rock, Sable Symphony, Strumpet, and StealingShad3z! Wonderful job, y’all! Much love! Let’s keep making this world more like Equestria!
Mantlegen – It’s (NOT) a Prank | Dubstep
Going hard with all the Dubstep wubs and drops, Mantlegen retells the story of S06E15 28 Pranks Later with possibly an alternate and darker ending… What if it was NOT a prank? Much hard-hitting-ness from Dubstep master Mantlegen ensues for a spooky and sick result…
Check this song out as part of its EP on Magnus Records!
R3CTIFIER – Break the Silence (Cynifree Remix) | Chill House
R3CTIFIER‘s Break the Silence is one of my favorite releases of the last few months, and it’s so cool to get a remix of it from Cynifree! Going the chill route, the musician takes the original vocal chops on a new soothing House journey that provides such a comfy atmosphere that Fluttershy would probably approve of. Let the many wonders flow once again with this remix!
UndreamedPanic & Totalspark – Dysania | Chillstep
Panic and Totalspark team up for this lovely chillstep piece. Wubbly, relaxing, atmospheric, and melodic, it’s a cold and potent dose of bliss. The EP it’s from (Times Like This) is pay-what-you-want, so be sure to check that out too!
The Dark Side – Holy Moly | Trap / Future Bass
Ah, yeah! Love us some trap and future bass here, coming from The Dark Side! Inspired by John Joseco and his Princess Molestia webcomic, with Trap Nation style visuals, this song is sure to be appreciated by brony bassheads everywhere. From the emotional chord progressions to the cool sub falls and filthy drops, this track has a nice combination of both trap in major and minor keys. Nice job, Dark Side!
Jyc Row – Strength | Orchestral
Jyc Row sure knows how to deliver the goods when it comes to orchestral music, and “Strength” is no exception! Inspired from Rockhoof’s story in Season 7, Episode 16, “Campfire Tales,” this work has instrumentation fit for Rockhoof’s time and composition fit for a typical superhero. It definitely feels like you’re in the village when you listen to it! Great composition, Jyc!
The rest of the Jyc Row’s EP will be coming soon, as this is Song #1.
MrMehster – SP1RIT ANIMAL | Hard Psytrance
Psytrance is my favorite subgenre of trance, my favorite genre. It’s woefully rare in the pony fandom, so seeing some is a huge thrill. SP1RIT ANIMAL is a wondrously complex composition, with chanting vocals, haunting synths, and alpine ambience. I love it so much!
MC-Arch – You Can Tell Me Everything | Hip-Hop
Warning: Content includes strong language.
MC-Arch is back at it with an emotional rap piece about society and issue that plague us all. Discussing anger, persistence, and his hope for the future, Arch turns to Princess Celestia as a role model for leadership and knowledge in trying times. With a simple, ambient backing track, solid beat, and steady flow, You Can Tell Me Everything is a great, hard-hitting track!
Sia – Rainbow (Lavender Remix) | Drum & Bass
Lavender’s classic sound design and energetic beats are applied to Sia’s amazing song from the MLP Movie! I’ve enjoyed many of her previous songs, and it was a genuine pleasure to see her do another fully pony one again. I listened to Rainbow on repeat for several days straight, and I’ll probably do the same with this remix!
Tridashie feat. IMShadow007 & Brittney Ackerman – Pony Girl (174UDSI Remix) | House
174UDSI gives Tridashie’s amazing Pony Girl a house-y trance-y twist in this remix! The bassline is absolutely stunning, as are the crisp, precise claps. Brittney Ackerman’s and IMShadow007’s vocals are delightfully tweaked and filtered, and the whole song is packed with energy. If you liked the original, be sure and listen to this wonderful remix!
