As a power move, Tw3lv3 has released a smooth and fast remix of TCB’s quite popular tune “Only One” not only to Equinty’s 4th album, but also their own Simp EP! Keeping in line with the ambience and scope of the original we get a taste of a faster yet laid back version of this tune with some really fun changes and twists especially near the end where some surprising but welcome textures and vibes. This one is a wonderful addition to the album and Tw3lv3 really knows how to string a vibe together!

One Track Mind – Cyberpony EP | Electronic
Okay, everypony, I’m going to level with you. I almost didn’t listen to this album. The first time that I played “Flyby at Night”, I got about a minute in, and I bailed. “This is too much 80s-style synth for me,” I remember saying at the time. I guess I was busy with some other stuff, and it didn’t engage me at first. Then I looked at the Bandcamp page and modus_ponens’s review. It was a glowing review, and it listed “Flyby at Night” as the reviewer’s favorite track. “Okay, okay,” I thought to myself. “I’ll give it another shot.” Later that day I found myself in the kitchen needing to get a bunch of cooking done and wanting a little background music. Long story short, that time flew by, and now I have to agree with modus_ponens–these are all great songs. Please give this album a listen! Feel free to read on for my take on this soundtrack to a story that I wish that I knew better!

Toby Macarony – Autumn’s Stars | Alternative Electronic
Toby is at it again with their distinctive style and flare! This one is a surprisingly tranquil piece with a very soothing atmosphere, a groovy bassline and a plethora of wonderful instrumentation. Choirs? Pan flutes? Grungy breakbeats? This has it all and has an astounding dynamic range! I’ve always been a Kirin fan and I just have to say I don’t know how they do it. Making ethnic inspired melodies, groovy basses and choirs work together in harmony but once again Toby knocked it out of the park!
PumpkinZ – Blizzard | Ambient
An entrancing, chilly, soft and conforting Ambient composition to keep you warm while you explore frozen grounds with Luna! PumpkinZ definitely did awesome conveying the aspects from the environment in the atmosphere of the track, and the warmth of the genre to reflect the cute cover art!
Niłch’i Poni – Apricity | Chillout
Niłch’i Poni is back, and I missed their music! You will be able to taste the musician’s unique style again in this fresh release, ever so brimming with musical wonders to appreciate. A trip in the jungle, an exploration of space, or chilling with friends in a back-alley in Manehattan, the possibilities of using this song as a BGM for something are endless!
MidnightFritz – Friendship Lasts Forever | Chillout
MidnightFritz had such a wonderful idea with the theme and title of this new release, that definitely conveys all the love from true friends with the cuddly instrumental. Listening to this while focusing on the love that you feel will make you tear up… At least, it happened to me, and I wish that it could happen to you too!

Dandelion – With Borrowed Wings | Ambient Pop
If you haven’t been listening to Dandelion, you really should! Their ability to create unique and innovative soundtracks is apparent with each and every new release. With Borrowed Wings is an extremely peaceful and gorgeous song. The theme explores a pony afterlife which is made apparent by the heavenly design and instrumentation. Helen the vocalist has an angelic voice which sings softly over a subtle, bright synth. Some dream-like bells are mixed in with light percussion to really give life to the tack. [P@D] Tripon – And In Darkness May She Reign | Dark Ambient Technofolk
My second favorite from P@D Eclipse, And In Darkness May She Reign is the kind of dark beauty from Tripon that we all wished for when we saw that name in the tracklist. Atmospheric, deep and mysterious, its progression is a real journey into unknown and faraway territories, and also a trip into fascinating lore that the musician crafted and that you can read from the description!
Whirlwind – The Mission EP | Liquid Drum & Bass / Orchestral
Encompassing love for space and space music in an EP full of starry and dreamy DnB beauties, Whirlwind showcased his skill at a genre full of wonders, all while telling a story about his OC exploring space. Much emotion and story-telling in the tracks, that will make you follow him on the journey. Such a display of musical skill and passion is very inspiring and amazing, and it’s definitely an EP worth the listen! My personal favorite from the EP is Solar Surf!

Koron Korak – No Answers Refine Doubts | Dark Ambient
Boy, this one is bleak. Koron Korak’s latest outing is a vent piece in the form of a dark ambient track, No Answers Refine Doubts. Dark, deep synths carry the track along, with other sounds from a piano and harsh droning synths coming in occasionally to switch it up over the song’s 8 minute length. I have a big soft spot for ambient music like this. It’s so different from the norm and often times minimal, but there’s always a looming feeling to it, hence the name “dark ambient”. It might not be for you, but I recommend you give it a spin at least once.
