SpinScissor – no mates | Outsider House
SpinScissor is no stranger to experimentation an he is back with a minimalistic and spacey house track. ‘no mates’ is adorned with an array of different sound samples from conversations to ringing phones and detuned synths, coupled with a snappy bassline. It exudes a lo-fi aesthetic in its production and its visuals. A tale of the turbulence of life and past friendships and hopeful lasting friendships, this one is an interesting listen for sure!
Koron Korak – A Moment Of Peace [Chillout]
Koron has taken a more chilled out route than a lot of his other recent music with this track. Featuring gentle percussion and some bright synth design, the Zouk-influenced moombah beat is built on top of with plenty of nice composition throughout. The piano and woodwind-style instrumentation is definitely a highlight.

Nicolas Dominique has an incredible talent for making pieces of music that turn on the serotonin in your noggin’ in a big way! Cuddles is the latest release from his latest album, Lanterns. This song makes you want to sit and imagine Celestia and Luna are there with you in a vibrant atmosphere. Your eyes close as this deeply warm and electric melody surrounds you in a symphony. It feels like a legion of epic positive vibes hugging you tightly! Give Mr. Dominique a round of applause for this dynamite revamp of this track as you kick back and relax! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself!
Tw3Lv3 – Aura | Electronic
Tw3Lv3 has been prolific with her releases over the last few years, with plenty of wonderful album experiences and collaborations to her name, with plenty more sure to come. The culmination of some of that work is on show here in her latest offering, Aura. Featuring 14 different tracks, two of which were initially released as part of P@D’s last compilation album, there’s a lovely mixture of solo and collaborative work, and some cool album art from BL1NKY as well. With plenty to vibe to from d&b rollers to more future bass-oriented dance tunes, there’s also the helping of chill you’d expect from Tw3Lv3 too.

Sparklight Productions – Eclipse | Chillout
Today I’ve got for you something special: We’ve all had our struggles, especially over the last few years, Sparklight Productions focuses here specifically on anxiety, something a lot of people fight with, and puts it into a stunning Chillout track.
We start out immediately with the slightly darker melody that represents well how anxiety can feel for people, before we get into the calmer beats, joined by a piano melody and soft drums. After a bit we get into a more atmospheric melody that slowly combines with Elements previously heard and some new ones, forming this atmospheric sounds that seems happy and uncaring yet foreboding at the same time. We pretty much stay with this sound, slow changes happen and before you know it, the song slowly comes to a close.
Whirlwind – Skybound | Chillout / Dubstep
This one is quite an airy one! Inspired by ‘Tanks For The Memories’, there’s quite a bit of interesting mixes and mashes here. Ambient flowing pianos and rising and falling ambiance with crystal clear melodies really give off an ethereal feel to the choppy and glitched vocals that adorn this track! Whirlwind even incorporates some old-school dubstep growls halfway through to breakup the relative calm with a burst of unexpected, yet not unwelcome energy. A fun track not afraid to experiment, Whirlwind’s first song of 2022 starts the year on a high note!
Nicolas Dominique – Sonnenaufgang | Electronica
Nicolas has always been great at working ethereal and entrancing sounds and entrancing into his music, and this tune is no exception! The constant pulse of the drums and the bass anchor this song as bright arpeggios and synths dance over the top, creating a sense of both relaxation and suspense at the same time. This is the latest release from Nicolas’ upcoming album LANTERNS, which will offer even more chillout goodness, so keep an eye out for that!
