[ASOS] MrMehster – S0AR | Drum & Bass
Here are some sweet DnB vibes coming from MrMehster, here, featured on A State of Sugar’s recent album, Candy! The sound design is fun and lighthearted, and the vocal chops make for an awesome lead. With the Japanese vocals in there, combined with the overall feel of the track, it almost sounds future bass-like with a DnB drum pattern and tempo; very interesting idea there! Nice job, MrMehster!
A State of Sugar – Candy | Compilation Album | Multi-Genre
Sugar, Spice, and everything nice! That’s a close enough reference and it’s time for a new ASoS album! Since the release of Lollipop this summer, the compilation album side of this project has grown alongside the promo channel that they run – this album features 36 brand new songs, and a good 2 hours or so of music for you to enjoy. The album covers a lot of the more melodic side of electronic music, as the ASoS label tends to do. There’s plenty of future bass, trance and chill stuff, but also the fair share of dubstep and bass house, and everything inbetween!

Totalspark – Emergence VIP (ft. UndreamedPanic) | Drum & Bass
The original version of Emergence was a house(ish) track from nearly 3 years ago. Not only has Totalspark been constantly improving since then, but this VIP completely reworks the song into a full-on rock-infused (shoutout to Panic on guitar) DnB/Drumstep banger! I’m loving the chords too, I’m a sucker for all those [bIII], [bVI] and [bVII] chords. Great job Sparky!
Ponytronic – Anima | Drum & Bass
Ponytronic has been hyping us for his new and upcoming EP The Phantasm! Releasing this amazing composition as one of the singles, Ponytronic mixed orchestral elements with the neuro basslines and the futuristic and awesome drums. The synths and the “music box” sounds together made an amazing track! This composition is very ethereal and atmospheric, I love how Ponytronic made it and I’m hyped for The Phantasm. You should be hyped too because Ponytronic is a unique producer in the fandom!
Filly in the box – Still Blind (Sky Runner Remix) | Drum & Bass
It’s been a year since Sky Runner started releasing music (I think the first song we posted was Antagonist). With so many great dnb releases from them, Sky is definitely one of my favourite brony dnb producers! To celebrate, here’s a remix of FitB’s song Still Blind from back in August.

An unexpected treat from Brilliant Venture, here’s the full version of Rainbow Rocks’ song Welcome to the Show, from an alternate universe where the Dazzlings’ wouldn’t get interrupted by the Rainbooms!! Featuring Wubcake as the incontestable singer for the job, the remix/cover progresses from the beloved sections of the original that we know covered expertly in a new way, to brand new parts expanding on the spirit of the original. It’s also fusioning rock with electronic music over an inspired progression, and it is all giving that song a whole new perspective, and displaying once again Brilliant Venture’s amazing vision.

Tripon – Ponk Up | Jump Up
Tripon’s amping up the Ponk this time, with a high-energy and candy-fed Jump Up track defying the laws of Nature with insane composition, sound design, and use of vocal samples. Providing a surge of excitement and happiness from the fast, uplifting pace and the sugary percs, the tune doesn’t fail to bring a smile as Pinkie’s voice resonates in the music and gives it an extra layer of craziness, later joined by Rarity for a tasty dash of white in all the pink. Time to Ponk Up!
