Continuing his rollout of Trotcon exclusive tunes, Brilliant Venture breaks out a VIP of his ode to the fandom from Ponies at Dawn’s Awakening. This one is grittier and harder-hitting than the original, featuring some very recognizable samples, including the NRG PonyDub and a new section featuring the cathartic The Magic Inside, and interpolations (I think I may have heard a Trixie the Pony Troll one in the drop!). The gritty basses and upgraded sound design should certainly please any fan of Brill’s!

Daniel Ingram – A Kirin Tale (Vylet Pony Remix) | Dubstep
Now here’s a unique take on the now-famous A Kirin Tale, and I don’t mean just musically! Its concept is around a vengeance-thirsty Autumn Blaze (depicted here by art by Yona), and that concept is reflected awesomely through sick wubs and wicked drops, perhaps representing Autumn’s wrath, going for the kill! Vylet does wonders and lets his talent at hard-hitting music shines once more, while A Kirin Tale gets an unexpected new version that definitely isn’t afraid of going hard!
Mysty – More Than Loyal | Chillstep
New pony musician ahoy! Let’s welcome Mysty to the scene, with a lovely first track themed around Rainbow Dash and her Element. Beautiful and soft melodies bring that emotion as an energetic beat brings Dashie her coolness, and overall this Chillstep experience does wonders at reflecting both Dashie’s soft side and tender feelings toward her friends, and her proud personality!

After the most successful collab Have Here, NeverLastStanding and loophoof show us the many wonders resulting from the union of their talents and visions once more! A full-fledged tribute to Pinkie, Fuchsia Dream is quite meaningful and rich in its message as the description shows, and makes for much emotion along the creative composition and blissful sound design, with inextinguishable energy given by Pinkie vocal chops! Available on Ponies at Dawn Enigma!
Lorris – Kirinirik | Dubstep
Songs that reflect their concept musically like this one are such a delight! Lorris shows us his own creativity and take on the widely acclaimed S08E23 Sounds of Silence, with a progressive track representing both the lively and cheerful spirit of the kirin (and especially our beloved Autumn Blaze!) AND the power of the anger of the nirik, with a more heavy part in the track! Lovely concept and musical interpretation!
TCB – Discord Trouble | Hybrid Trap
TCB back at it again with the Memery and Machinery for a Beautifull Track. Bringing in some Chaotic flavour too this time. Discord tunes are always enjoyable tunes. This one taking the cake in my honest opinion! this Remix of Odysey’s while adding in Doodled’s & Ditherers Track really brings out the energy and hype. A Classic I hope to hear next year at Ciderfest! hope to see ya’ll and TCB there! ❤
One Track Mind – Nightly Mares EP | Electronic
Just in time for the spooky holiday, One Track Mind brings us six great tracks to really get into the Nightmare Night spirit! This extended play uses a great array of dynamics to convey an overwhelming, almost helpless at times emotion throughout a very exciting set of songs.
The first track, Nightfall, does an incredible job setting up the feel of the rest of the EP, introducing an exciting, horror themed soundscape that flows beautifully into the second track.
Edge of the Forest is an exciting track right up until One Track Mind flips it on it’s head and gives the track a somber, chilling finish.
Unloyal starts off like a disco track and runs with that theme, managing to be eerie in it’s upbeat style. About halfway through the soft, terrifying feel of Edge of the Forest comes back to top off the track with that familiar fear feeling.
Fluttering Lullaby is an intense, more powerful track. The synth is on-point with the tense drums, invoking imagery of someone slowly losing their mind.
Black Heart Purple Fur changes up everything with narration over top of a distorted, stop-beat intro. This song is more laid back from the rest of the EP, and utilizes a high, ticking noise to induce anxiety throughout.
Giggles in the Dark wraps up the EP very nicely, like you are racing out of the woods, not knowing if you will make it or not. This track incorporates great dubstep wubs and has several moving parts that keep it interesting and intense!
Einarx – Nightfall | Dubstep
Einarx has dropped quite the literal bombshell with this one! The atmosphere that is brought in straight from the intro is incredible and gives us a mix of some digital and Japanese anime vibes. Speaking of which by sampling the Japanese Nightmare Moon’s voice it really sets this apart from what I’m used to hearing! It’s clever, refreshing, and hard hitting and that’s what I love about Einarx and is quite the ‘trick’ of Trick NO Treat: Phase 3 from the folks at Magnus Records. If you loved this one then you really should check the rest out. It is quite a treat.
Phoxi – everfree coven | Experimental Trap

Damn this was SPOOPY, Phoxi delivers an amazing audio design in this track, with the drums really well made, the wubs are really distorted and the whispers CELESTIA! The whispers!!!!!! It was an amazing experience, and SPOOPY, incredible, incredible! I love it!!!! Phoxi always delivers really cool songs!!
TCB – The Empress Of Friendship (PVCF18 Edit) | Dubstep
The incredible original from the Ponyville Ciderfest compilation album deserved a VIP for sure, and this is pretty much the effect of this “PVCF18 Edit” that got premiered at the con! Further empowering the original Cozy Glow-themed masterpiece, a new lead was added, and the drops were re-imagined to bring much extra hype. Pure bliss, and we can only thank TCB for being this amazing and releasing all this among the community! He performed at Ponyville Ciderfest, check TCB’s Twitter for updates!
