When the pony of shadows comes, you’d better say your prayers! They weren’t especially well developed, but the character design was really super cool. What’s also really cool is this new tune from Syzy, which goes unashamedly hard right from the start. Powerful battle drums lead into a heavy drop that showcases an awesome variety of contemporary sound design, coupled with a fantastic foreboding atmosphere.

Hot off the heels of his last remix, JoinedTheHerd has another one for us! Flawless gets his remix treatment this time, and he’s definitely done an awesome job with it. The vocal chopping through the track is gorgeous, and the synthplay through the track is heaps of fun too.

After remixing Boo Hoo recently, Strach’s now taken a shot at remixing one of Assertive’s other early fandom hits, Boooring! Making good use of the vocals from the original in the builds, the drops are full of some awesome clean dubstep sound design, whilst the second drop gives it a bit of a trap feel too.
For someone relatively new, I’m shocked at how deep this feels. Fascinatin did a great job conveying Twilight’s goal of setting an example for all of Equestria as the Princess of Friendship and the emotions that are being evoked are just incredible! If there is one thing that stands out to me, the creative rhythms thrown in by the drums and I’ve always been a sucker for legato synth leads. I expect great things to come from this and can’t wait to hear whats next! How about you?
Zythiria is the new alias of SkyAudioPony, who’s been making music since 2016, and they’ve recently remade one of their older tracks. This version of Far North incorporates more orchestral elements than the original, but still maintains some electronic elements.
Ice Bear does it again! Coming from the Ponies That Yawn compilation of 2017, Inkling gives us a really trippy and psychedelic breakcore track. The breaks were well done and the synths were amazing! One Track Mind’s had some cool tracks in the past, but this is definitely my favourite so far. Whilst it has some pretty cool dubstep-style electro breakdowns through the track, what really stands out to me are some of the vocals. They’ve got some pretty neat effects on them, and I really dig a few of the vocal melodies.
From a new perspective, BlueBrony has been releasing some really interesting projects. This one is one of many. The marimba feeling along with bells gives a western yet tropical vibe to the song. A song about a stick and stone from our favorite show. What can we ask more? Good job BlueBrony, keep up the amazing work.
Brilliant Venture’s always had a talent for nostalgic songs, and Moved On is no exception. At once melodic, energetic, and oldschool, this song jumps from genre to genre fluidly. It’s like being taken on a guided tour by a cheerful, helpful, kind pony (Pinkie?) through a world of happiness and nostalgia.
JoinedTheHerd is back and going strong with this remix of Time to Be Awesome! Interjecting his amazing synth phrases into the hit movie track, JTH keeps the uplifting feel of the song while adding his own cheerful style to the mix. JoinedTheHerd uses the chops to capitalize on the catchiness of the song and mixes them up so that it keeps you on your toes, making for an awesome remix!
