Their sound design together is on FIRE up in here, so while you wait for P@D’s eleventh album release that’s planned to happen this Friday, come on over and shake it down with Philomena!
A Symphony of Two – Living Nightmares | Dark Ambient / Orchestral
The French duo A Symphony of Two, comes back with this spooky, chilling and ethereal tune about Princess Luna and her fears of becoming Nightmare Moon again. A nocturnal and ominous texture with some Spoken Word samples and orchestral arrangements that makes this song one of the many repertories that represent the creativity behind Blue Note’s and Cainbow’s minds.
This masterpiece reminds me of some really somber and mysterious horror videogame soundtrack like Akira Yamaoka’s Silent Hill soundtracks. You really need to check out this song and the album where it’s featured.
AnNy Tr3e – Sun Guardian | House
Opening with warm melodies interspersed with glitchy wubs, and progressing into a beautiful and very energetic beat, AnNy Tr3e is sure to get your tails bouncing and your hooves pounding! Moving into the breakdown, those glitchy wubs make a comeback, accompanied with vocal chops. All throughout, the song stays uplifting and danceable. We all know Fluttershy would like to be a tree, and if this is the kind of music they make, I have to agree with her!
[P@D] Einarx – Guardian VIP | Dubstep
What a privilege it is to get to write a review of something Einarx made! I’ve been a fan of him for over a year, since his absolutely fantastic EP “Descended” came out. This VIP is a superbly produced New Fluttershy-themed piece with screeching crashes, machine-like effects, and insane wubs, interspersed with softer melodic bits. All throughout, Einarx’s trademark vocal chopping shines brilliantly. Another top-quality track from the South Korean master of dubstep!
Saintz – Rise | Deep House
Saintz brings us a high-energy, dark piece of deep house. With a consistent and high-quality main synth that reminds me of Deadmau5’s “Phantoms Can’t Hang” , the song maintains a theme throughout. The smoothly progressing drums and spooky effects compliment the overall “feel”, and the excellent production rounds out the track. A perfect track to set on replay and listen to for a few hours.
eksoka – Sartoria | House
A wonderful and much inspired track brimming with Rarity’s charm, Sartoria is Eksoka’s musical response to those “Rarity’s Peek Behind the Boutique” animated shorts that aired during the ad breaks of some S7 episodes on Discovery Family. A stylish and very chic House arrangement is sublimated by beautiful and “fashionable” sounds, while the whole track is delightfully topped with hot vocal samples, including Rarity’s voice from the shorts, and makes for a very “Rarity” sensual experience.
TCB – Nothing is Forever (Hay Tea Remix) | Drum & Bass
Hay Tea steps up to the plate with a pretty intriguing drum & bass remix of TCB’s Nothing Is Forever, which was previously posted here. The percussions throughout the entire remix along with Hay Tea’s sound design are real crispy and such a sweet little treat to the ears. The neuro basses are also an exquisite factor as well, so clean and everything. There’s absolutely so much emotion being poured onto this one, and I’m pretty sure you’re gonna love it just as much as the original!
Various Artists – Horse Music Central Vol. 3 | Compilation Album | Multi-Genre
You may remember the two previous albums released by the crew over at Horse Music Central, their last one being released at Christmas with a distinct wintry theme. Now the regulars of the big musicians’ Discord server have another release to offer. Although no specific theme this time, it features some of the more underground artists, as well as a few classic long-running musicians.

Nevermourn – Canterlot Drone | Neuro Drum & Bass
Nevermourn hasn’t made much music yet, but after listening to this I’m eagerly waiting for his next release. With chilling ambiance and bold and eerie synths, he provides a high-quality changeling-inspired composition. The fast-paced drums evoke the feeling of an invasion, and the pitch-shifted vocals match the song’s darker feel perfectly. A hard-hitting banger all around!
