Today we’ve got some breathtaking House Music from ArdhyM. The song starts out with an already amazing beat, that slowly ramps up to give us an amazing drop supported by Applejack’s best “Ye haw”. The drop keeps rolling and keeps you dancing until it ramps up and get’s even more awesome! After some time the beat changes but still stay’s with the upbeat until it goes silent only to slowly grow louder and supported by several vocal samples it goes back up and louder until it hit’s the drop once more into the absolute awesomeness, the beat continues up some time more until it fades out and in what an amazing way! This might just be the best end to a song I’ve ever heard.

[ASOS] Eniix – Power Ponies | Complextro
We’re keeping the amazing ASOS: Chocolate treats coming for ya. Business is about to pick up with this track at 28 on the album. some real super ponies vibes right here. The pace and beat could be used for Twilight and her friends or the Sunset Shimmer group in EQG. Either way, this has heavy action and a pulsing flow with a banging bassline for super powered ponies on patrol, taking care of the cities with crazy nut jobs trying to cause mayhem. The elements are a complex mix of elements that just let your imagination tell the story for you. Bad guys or ponies on the run, super villains making a mess of things. and our heroes are always on the move and on the case. This track is just a fun listen that will get your mood to swing in the right way. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Aoshi – FluttERR (feat. Fluttershy) (PSFMer Remix) | Jersey Club
Disclaimer: This is about the remix from the original song, not the original song, and while at times it may seem like I’m talking down on one song, I intend to compare and contrast the two.
So my take on this remixed version of fluttERR from the original, well going back and listening to both for the first time, and by a side by side character I prefer the remix. Both are talented able and potential musicians, but something stood out to me more than the tune, cords, bass or vocals was the rhythm and theme of the music. The remix sticks with the same theme all the way through with a little surprises here and there. while the original seems to jump from theme to theme, its dubstep one second, hiphop, then electro the next and its rather distracting, but still a good song and im sure it was amazing in its prime. The remix is a fun remix you almost want to dance to, as stated in the comments you could get a wrong idea with some of the lyrics it depends on the person, it sticks with a select set of vocals to accommodate the beat and rhythm of the song. With how the song is set up you can tell its a remix, but in my opinion a rather good one, it has a great drop. the little addition of a new piece every few seconds such as a squeek, grunt (or moan whichever you prefer) the bass, is a rather fun addition, while this song is only 2 min 11 seconds its a great listen to and I recommend it! only thing i wish is that it was longer, great job PSFMer, with both the cover piece and the song, i cant wait to see more of your work in the future!
Proto_ssin – Lands (feat. Koron Korak) | Progressive House
Today fellow bronies we’ve got ourselves a great track by Proto_ssin. The track starts out with the beat and some tunes and builds up until it transitions into a lovely piano solo and slowly adds other tunes again while still keeping the piano in the foreground until the beat takes over once again and builds up until it eclipses in the chorus and without any exaggeration as I heard the drop for the first time it nearly blew me out of my chair with its 220% awesomeness. After this banger of a chorus the beat calms down again only to after some time build up again to once more transition into this banger of a chorus. But wait there’s more! Proto_ssin makes you think the track is over but once more the piano picks up with a simple tune and slowly the beat return and brings us one more amazing chorus.
FelonOnBass – Protest | Bass/Electro House
Today we’ve got ourselves an amazing track by FelonOnBass. This track starts out simple but quickly starts adding new tunes and building up slowly until it eclipses in a way that blew me out of my chair as I was listening to it for the first time, but wait there’s more! The drop never comes down again it just continues and builds up until it comes to another drop and maybe one of the best house beats I’ve ever heard. After that and also massive amounts of jumping on my part the beat sorta calms down, it’s calmer then before but still in this state of absolute house amazingness and just as you caught your breath from all the throwing down the utterly amazing second drop happens again and the song slowly ends.
Aventrix – Iced | Bounce
Bounce (and a lot of similar music) isn’t one of those things I actively search out all the time, but I tend to really enjoy it when I come across it. Iced is a pretty active track that I might still call easy-listening, or dare I say it- “catchy.” Its somewhat simplistic but never gets boring, thanks to the abundance of samples sprinkled on top. And yes, it repeat several times before I even noticed.
SmD House – Full of Hope | House
Today we’ve got ourselves an amazing house track by SmD House. This track starts out rather simple with just one old-timey sounding beat, but quickly more stuff joins in and you realize that this is not your run-of-the-mill house track, the song goes through a bunch of different beats and this makes the song seem very lively. Also around the halfway point the song goes back to being very simple and here I should maybe mention that if I say a songs is being simple and only is a single beat sometimes. I don’t mean this as a criticism, I mean it as a compliment since not very much beats can make a great track on their own. Overall this song is rather calm and therefore perfect to just chill out for some time or as a background song for doing work.
CAPT – The Potion Ocean | Tropical House
Today we’ve got ourselves a Pony Life themed track by CAPT. This song is a lovely house track centered around the tropical feeling of the Potion Ocean. The tropical house tunes really create a feeling of laying on the beach of the Potion Ocean yourself and the voice samples from the show add just the final touch to make this amazing track even better. If you like horse house you’re gonna have a blast with this song and if you don’t like it, maybe give this song a shot either way. Who knows? You may like it too.
[ASOS] Tw3lv3 – One Small Thing (feat. Drummershy, Koa and MC-Arch) | Progressive House
The lineup of musicians assembled for this collaboration seems like the answer to a challenge: Assemble a group of current fandom musicians that are not only talented and accomplished artists but also great ambassadors for the fandom and values to which the community aspires. Okay, now have that lineup write a fantastic song about how even small acts of kindness and friendship can have a huge impact on someone’s life. If there is an “Elements of Harmony Award”, then give it to this group, because that challenge has been thoroughly met! One of my favorite things about the fandom is how well musicians collaborate together and how collaborations are often so successful at melding the talents of their contributors, and this song is a prime example of that! First, the ultra smooth, vibrant, uplifting backbone of the song, the music that Tw3lv3 has created, lends itself so well to each successive contribution. Then come Koa’s fantastic vocals, which echo the wonderful song “One Small Thing” from “MLP: The Movie” and its amazing duet between Pinkie Pie and Princess Skystar. This message is one that especially resonates with Tw3lv3 and has so many echoes with her own journey as a musician in the fandom. These lyrics and her story is an amazing testament to the power of inclusion, of helping each other and finding ways to grow individually and collectively. MC-Arch then contributes his own amazing vocals, and it seems appropriate to have this message of perseverance come from someone who is continually advocating for more positive interactions within the community. Last (but in no way least) Drummershy lends his considerable percussive proficiency to the mix, creating an excellent passage of drumming that, as with the vocals in the song, stands out on its own before being swirled into the blissful mix. As the song sounds its final triumphant beats and the final notes soar and softly dissipate, it certainly feels as though a journey has begun, forged from struggle, fired by friendship, and triumphantly climbing onward.
