Incidentally following up on Tripon’s Jump Up banger, Brohoof Studios makes another awesome use of Pinkie vocal samples from the Hop, Skip & Jump song from S01E07 Dragonshy, in a bass-heavy party choon. It marvelously plays and chops vocal samples from the episode while bringing an instrumental madness that seems like it’s waiting to tear down walls just from the power of mighty bass music. This genre “Hardbass” definitely has a fitting name! This taste of Pinkie energy is available as part of A State of Sugar Bubblegum.

DJT & Rusyd Rosman – Breathing Space (Shuffle Horse Remix)| Deep House / Bounce
I’ve not heard Shuffle Horse’s music before apart from his song on the recent A State of Sugar compilation, Bubblegum, but color me impressed! This remix of DJT and Rusyd Rosman’s lovely Breathing Space focuses on a tight groove and, boy, the shuffle in Shuffle Horse’s is in full effect on this song. This has to be one of the most danceable pony songs of the year. The potential for bangers to come is insane with this guy, definitely one to look out for! Did I mention he’s 15?
Brilliant Venture- Celestial Summit VIP | Electro House
Brilliant Venture is finally back! His last release, Moved On, was featured on Cider Party and is a very personal and emotional song. However, he wasn’t inactive due to a lack of inspiration. Far from it, he was preparing ten (count ’em, ten) unreleased tracks for premiere at TrotCon (his set was wonderful, by the way!), and this is the first to go up online. Whereas Moved On dealt with his personal life struggles, Celestial Summit VIP is a pseudo-remix of Celestia’s Ballad from season 3’s finale, sampling it heavily through vocal chops and otherwise. It retains the emotion and the energetic wubs from Moved On, fans will be happy to discover. As usual, Brilliant Venture also draws heavily from the music and overall vibes of the old brony fandom. A treat for any fan of the original or Celestia junkie!

Not content with just one genre, Notion’s put his spin on Tempest’s famous solo piece with a blend of house and future bass. While it’s a shame we still can’t get properly isolated vocals for the track, the concept behind this remix is really interesting and a pretty unique take on the song!
HACKD – Go With The Flow | Tech House
If you like creative use of clips from episodes, then this round of cider will be to your taste! It was inspired by S06E12 Spice Up Your Life and it’s full of flavor as per The Tasty Treat’s tradition! Lovely use of both vocal and SFX clips from the episode is complementing an instrumental and sound design work from under the counter, and HACKD displays once more how pony passion and hard work make the magic happen.
[ASOS] BlackIceMusic – Sweet & Sour | Melbourne Bounce
Fresh from the A State of Sugar: Bubblegum Album BlackIceMusic gives us this funky and fresh gem. Melbourne bounce is something we could always use more of and they nailed the feel perfectly. There is quite a bit going on here and the sprinkling of vocal chops and samples alternating from “sweet to sour” really brings out the sass while keeping things cute and all in all is a great piece to sample from the album.

A new pony release from musical maestro Ertrii, Your Kindness embodies, you guessed it, Fluttershy’s Element. But hold your horses, it does it while sampling the classic Hush Now Lullaby in a very nostalgic way! Those who explored the pony music of the past might know what I mean. Many songs sampled that very iconic song showcasing Fluttershy’s gorgeous and very inspiring vocals, and it’s a real delight to see Ertrii bringing out the potential of those vocals once more in the present with this blissful Chill House track. Mikuma’s back with a new show song remix showcasing his unique style! Using the whole extent of his experience, the musician crafted tasty whomps to go along Rarity’s vocals from Becoming Popular. It all makes for a very bouncy and danceable treat, making you feel like you’re in some popular disco club in Equestria! As a bonus, Photo Finish drawn by the awesome Marenlicious is here to grace us with the beautiful -and rare- sight of her eyes…
ertrii – Serenity | Progressive House
Ertrii’s been on a roll lately, releasing new tunes almost by the day! Seems like he had many unfinished projects, and perhaps the community played a part in giving him the motivation to finish them… Either way it’s all a wonderful blessing, as we get entranced by the musician’s signature soothing melodies and gorgeous sounds! Serenity is no exception, accompanying the incredible scenery from the cover art with a heavenly atmosphere and incredible sound design.
