Making his debut on the Cider Party channel is Tw3Lv3 with the Asian-inspired Tsukimi! Track 11 from his debut album Release, this banger showcases his usual lo-fi style with the addition of a sampled guzheng that plays harmonic and fretted notes, giving it an Asian feeling as well as making the whole track seem a lot more organic. The whole track is built around the same melody, with little variations here and there, such as the middle where the guzheng is filtered out and the bass takes over. A little change can add a lot in the long run. Release has been, well… released since November 13th, so check it out!

Steryotype – Lofi Pon EP | Lo-fi
Our patience has been rewarded, as Steroytype’s debut EP, Lofi Pon EP is finally here! 14 tracks of lo-fi hip hop goodness, with sprinkles of MLP samples and various vintage sounds, such as vinyl noise and old time music. The majority of tracks are less than two minutes long, so nothing here feels like it goes on too long or overstays its welcome. Stand out tracks are JustKeepVibin with its clear hip hop influence coupled with a modified horn sample, and TheyDon’tReallyLikeMe (OhWell) , containing a lovely melody and manipulated guitar samples while keeping the general lo-fi aesthetic. Groovy yet serene, this is a beautiful EP that you can simply sit back and relax to after a long day.
Tw3Lv3 – Old Vibes | Lo-fi
If Tw3Lv3 was capable of producing anything bad, I don’t know what I’d do. Once again, he’s made an enjoyable lo-fi beat with a vintage sample, only this time with the addition of 8-bit chiptune sounds! Coupled with footage of the fantastic 2011 fangame Story of the Blanks as a visual, it makes for a great and nostalgic listening experience. Tw3Lv3 wants there to be more lo-fi music in the fandom, and if it sounds like this, then I’m on board!
Steryotype – HoldTheLine | Lo-fi
Pone beat producer Steryotype returns to the fold with a very serene lo-fi piece. Though short, it sets a good mood with a vintage sample as its foundation with prominent record sounds and a soft drum beat. This is a good track to relax to, or if you need some background music to help you through the day. It’ll also be available as part of his upcoming EP, Lofi Pon, coming September 13th!
Tw3Lv3 – Canterlot Suburb | Lo-fi
Short but sweet, Tw3Lv3 returns to give us a chilled out lofi beat. A minimal song – only containing a bassline, a drum track and a filtered guitar sample – it serves as a good background track, perfect for walking down a calm, empty street in the morning. Good luck getting this funky track out of your head!
Tw3Lv3 – You can’t let one bad apple make you think you failed. | Lo-fi
A genre I don’t listen to enough, Tw3Lv3 has released a very laid back and soothing LoFi song, with the crackle and grit one should expect from the genre which blends quite well with the lounge-like melody and its deep and punchy bassline. Even the visuals harken back to the old age and helps immerse the listener even more. This is one where I can kick back, close my eyes and think back on life. An excellent job Tw3Lv3!
Tw3Lv3 – Starlight’s Dream | Lo-fi
Tw3Lv3’s latest piece is of pure beauty, reminding of other beat-driven atmospheric chill pieces such as Hay Tea’s. What’s more, it’s sampling that certain scene with Luna appearing in Starlight’s Dream, and it’s so perfectly integrated into the mix, making for a new experience of the scene, empowered by the music! Anytime BlueBrony releases a new track, you never know what you’re going to get – from funk to steampunk pop to orchestral pop to lo-fi, it’s an adventure and a half for your ears! Yona Sing Sad Song is a wonderfully creative take on Yona’s brief tune of depression from “She’s All Yak” put to an amazing soundscape that only BlueBrony could think of! The instrumentation really evolves throughout the course of the track, making it one you definitely need to check out!
