Whoooooaaaaakay, this song doesn’t waste time building up or anything, it just gets straight into the heavy stuff. Kickstart your Sunday morning with this 6-minute heavy metal instrumental.

Prince Whateverer – Reinvent | Album | Metal
New Prince Whateverer album? New Prince Whateverer album! It’s been 3 years since his debut (mini-)album, Rediscover, and after having built up a collection of single YouTube releases since then, he has recently finished Reinvent (I’m noticing a pattern here with the names). Catch the full writeup, track-by-track, of this glorious 16-track LP after the break…
Among The Herd – Est. 2010 (feat. StealingShad3Z) | Punk Metal
StealingShad3Z wonderful clean vocals mixed with Among The Herd’s crisp screams placed on top of a heavy hitting instrumental all come together to make for a super awesome punk metal anthem to the origins of the fandom. If that sounds like something you’re into, check it out!
PrinceWhateverer – So Long (feat. Wubcake & NRGPony) | Metal
Community Metal legend PrinceWhateverer astonishes the audience once again with a brand new track off the upcoming album Reinvent (that is going to be amazing), and it is certainly not failing to hit hard. Gathering the help of friends such as NRGPony (who was already featured in the awesome Taking Flight) and our beloved and ever-so-dazzling VA and singer Wubcake, So Long doesn’t fail to express the deep theme of Moondancer’s feelings as depicted in Amending Fences in a powerful rock spirit while bringing all the sick guitar riffs, heavy drums, delightful vocals all around, and emotional lyrics that you could expect from a PrinceWhateverer production of this genre. I missed the order of the physical deluxe edition of the album that was limited to 100 copies, but you can pre-order Reinvent on its Bandcamp page. The album will be dropping September 7! Yoohoo!
StallionSlaughter – Giggle at the Ghostly (covering Daniel Ingram) | Metal
Light and upbeat song? Check. Low tuned guitar? Check. Heavy a f breakdown? Of course! This cover of Giggle at the Ghostly may be pretty short (then again, the original is only like a minute long) but brilliantly produces as per usual with Stallionslaughter’s songs, and this one also features his family on backing vocals! The more the merrier, eh?
Secret Metal – Faster Than A Lightning | Metal
In case you were in need of something to completely blow you away, Secret Metal has a new speed metal(? halp I don’t know metal subgenres) song! Even though I’m not heavily invested into the metal scene, I know an amazingly produced song when I hear one. Huge props to Secret Metal for this one!
Reverbrony – Evening Whispers | Soft Rock
In a change of pace from his usual bi-weekly metal songs, Reverbrony has an acoustic-sounding soft rock song for us… Well, at least it starts that way, and has a twist towards the end, and I’ll give you 3 guesses what genre it turns into 😉
Dr. Somepony – Equs Infernus | Metal
In perfect Dr. Somepony style of rocking the music scene with a sutble emotional side that makes the difference, here’s a new track that definitely hits home with a deep theme, dealing with the aftermath of Celestia’s hard feelings as she had to banish her sister to the moon, and the musical composition and performance to back it up, including awe-inspiring keyboard notes and hard-hitting melodic guitar riffs.
Elias Frost – Derby Racers (covering Daniel Ingram) | Metal
Based Elias Frost brings some Metal spirit into the derby derpy race with this cover of much force, providing the energy of a thousand cheers. I’m sure Cheerilee would approve! The distinct vocal style completes a mighty instrumental, presenting Derby Racers in a whole new light. Go, go, gooo~
Francis Vace – Rainbow Factory (covering WoodenToaster) | Metal
Francis doing metal? Francis doing metal! Any reason to break out the 7-string is a good reason, or even just to put your guitars in drop D.
