All-around music magician eksoka took a more hard-hitting route for Ponies at Dawn Enigma, doing absolute wonders all the same! With sound design and an atmosphere in the same vein as his emotional musical style, the musician impresses once more with a blissful experience of gorgeous melodies and refined beats! A magnificent masterpiece gracing the album, and I’m so happy that eksoka contributed to it!

MC-Arch & Namii – Gaurdian Angel (feat. Koron Korak) | Hip-Hop
It is no surprise that MC-Arch feels powerful things for Fluttershy and would go as far as to have a foal with her, but to get such a heartfelt and impactful masterpiece about it, is such a delight and definitely feels like Arch’s magnum opus. Gathering the help of the talented Namii to voice Fluttershy and even sing gorgeous backing vocals, as well as inviting Koron Korak to perform fitting emotional violin, Arch delivers the peak of his feelings into this song, confessing yet again his genuine love for the yellow pegasus and singing an ode to a beautiful future for their family (depicted amazingly here by the artwork of xSidera) and for those who will partake in this inextinguishable source of happiness with him. As his friend and as someone who also feels powerful things for the ponies and who can relate very much to the lyrics, this song was very emotional for me and I’m so happy to see this unfold. May their love last forever!
[P@D] Wandering Artist – Magic Water | Soundtrack
John Doe’s streak of blissful OST-like tracks continues, and his Ponies at Dawn Enigma contribution wonderfully depicts that place at Mount Aris in the movie and its Magic Water. Such an ethereal and fantasy-like concept is painted beautifully here, and emotional violin just like heavenly piano are doing wonders to create this powerful experience. It would fit so well as a BGM during a certain important scene in a RPG where the characters learn about a tragic situation and new ordeals to overcome, or as a field theme when exploring that mysterious cave filled with entrancing wonders!
[P@D] UndreamedPanic – The Quest For Kindness (feat. Metajoker) | Progressive House
UndreamedPanic’s masterpiece from Ponies at Dawn Enigma not only features the gorgeous effect-empowered vocals from renowned Metajoker, it also got such a deep story about Fluttershy, Discord, and what it takes to support another and spread positivity! It’s all explained in the description, and that is why a musician’s individual upload of their P@D tune adds so much more to the stream’s experience – you can get new backstory and depth behind a song. Lots of love and props to Panic and Metajoker for this stunning beauty and the story behind it!
Direct Current – Hourglass EP | Indie Electronic
Direct Current is a musician who always comes up with something unique and enjoyable. In his new 3-song EP, he celebrates his 100th song released – an amazing feat for any musician to be sure! Each song on the release is exciting in a unique way, too!
- Sands of Time: a beautiful and mesmerizing track, the hard panning style of the ringing notes bring forth a hypnotic feeling
- Mists of Time: an uplifting track made even sweeter with the processed vocals, a bouncy synth and hi piano keys adds joyous tones to the sentimental track
- Forever: an optimistic piece romanticizing the future, the beat mimics the ticking of a clock in a very creative way
Hourglass is a great pickup and Direct Current should be commended for such a quality piece of work!
[P@D] TPressleyJ – What the Hay | Dubstep
The extent of TPressleyJ’s skill shines bright in this absolute Dubstep banger that defies common sense as it makes you go nuts by the sound and sheer power of its drops. The buildup during the first pre-drop and what comes just before the drop in particular is my jam and makes me go crazy, mad props to TPressleyJ for coming up with that. Excited for what the musician will have in store for us in the future!
GhostXb – She Lingers | Orchestral
The first installment of a new series of horror-themed tracks leading to Nightmare Night, She Lingers depicts the mood and atmosphere from the artwork and story in the description so well. GhostXb’s musical depictions of scenes or concepts are always so amazing, and it certainly is a treat to get such fittingly themed pieces this month!
[P@D] Protocat – These Chords (feat. N. Hollow) | Drum & Bass
Off Enigma comes this massive tun here from Protocat with some great rapping from N. Hollow. I’m loving the amazing atmosphere that comes with every Protocat song, and everything comes together to deliver this super energetic track. The best part has to be how the track maintains it’s smoothness while being so upbeat, it’s just super pleasant to listen to. Definitely a groovy track and one that you’ll want to check out.

A personal favorite from Enigma, Protocat and N. Hollow both brought their A game on this song. Protocat’s arrangement is gorgeous, with an incredibly wavy bassline, tasteful use of effects, and an undeniable groove. N. Hollow wears his A$AP Rocky influences on his sleeves here (even namedropping him), with some great wordplay and his normal references to various fashion designers and gangsta rap conventions. That hook is also infectious! (Thanks for the shout out too, bra)

One Track Mind – Crown Cancellation (Helping Twilight Win The Crown Remix) | Glitch-Hop
Another One Track Mind greatness to bring utter bliss to our ears! Hard to put into a genre indeed, this new take on Equestria Girls (Cafeteria Song)/Helping Twilight Win The Crown is full of the musician’s unique style, blending in several electronic influences into a creative cocktail of sound and vocal chops, for over 4 minutes of tasty heavy bass madness. Sounds like the Fall Formal just got a new princess!
[P@D] Exiark – Through Time And Space | Complextro
I always have high expectations for an Exiark track but Through Time And Space is something all its own! Easily one of my favourite tracks from the latest Ponies @ Dawn Album; Enigma this one will definitely take you for a journey and you can feel the tension and chaos that a thousand years on the moon would bring about and the way the tempos and rhythms shuffle and morph, it’s truly awe-inspiring!
