Rainbow Dash Vs. Lighting Dust; a rivalry to be remembered fondly by this fandom as some of the best moments of character growth for Rainbow Dash. RD fans like myself will point you to this fact. SnowShovel and ProtoShadez’s take on this confrontation comes into the theme of each of them trying to get the upper hand. The sick grungy guitar work symbolizes this war of speed and finesses, the desire to be the best and who gets to the fly with the ‘Bolts! Shadez’s vocals display claims from Dashie and Lightning Dust about who’s the better Pegasus! Special nod to PrinceWhateverer for his contribution of drums in the track as well! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

Ponytronic – Celestial Promises EP | Electronic
Editor’s note: better late than never, right? (sorry Tron)
Following up on their 2019’s EP Luna’s Essence, Ponytronic brings you a day in the life of Princess Celestia’s royal duties as protector of Equestria! Ponytronic takes a different approach to express that through an album where Celestia is trying to figure out how not only to rule Equestria with her Sister Luna but aid her sister in re-adapting to modern Equestria. That is, however, not expressed in melodies that tell a story of struggle but these fitting beats of positively charged D&B and Drumstep tell a tale of overcoming challenges that Celestia takes on head-on! Have a listen!
Continue readingGeekbrony – The Hive | Neurofunk
It’s been quite some time since Geekbrony has released anything, but it’s been worth the wait! Over one and half years in the making, this track is here to remind you why Geek is still one of the best producers in the fandom. The hyperintense aggressive synth is only the start of this masterpiece! The deadly game between Starlight Glimmer and Queen Chrysalis is captured with vocal samples full of hate and hostility, and the big showdown vibe with how that bass hits you until you are senseless. Mixed with the aggression is this soft but passive-aggressive melody that perfectly lines up with how spiteful Chrissy is and how game Starlight is to show that in return! Geekbrony has said this is the most complex and dynamic track they have ever put together. The layers of the composition give you a banger you can really pump your fist to. This track is how you immerse your listeners into a dramatic confrontation and still make a fantastic banger! As always, This Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

TCB blasts this head-moving and grooving vibe that is NOT shy about being colorful! The guitar-like synths are a nice touch. Those addicting drops will have you bopping your head in rhythm to Lyra’s message of “flipping the perception of your own story!”. As always, This Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
[P@D] Whirly Tail – Who I Could Be (feat. MathematicPony) | Hands Up
Rainbow Dash is a character with some of the most electrifying and entertaining music in the history of this music community. Music about her goals, her flighting spirit, her dreams, and her loyalty to her friends. You name it, some of the fandom’s most iconic songs are about her. Music that is high energy gets your blood pumping or your adrenaline going.
However, it has a track about who RD is as a character at its very foundation ever been done? Strap in for this one on P@D: Zenith because it has now. Everything she is at her core is sung in the most inspiring manner; the lyrics embody RD’s defiance to beat the odds, A theme present throughout FiM. You can say Dashe’s desires to be the very best, but what gets shortsighted all too much is RD’s love for the skies, her home, Where her confidence indeed shows, A place where Rainbow’s best character traits come to the forefront when she is at her very best! What seals it is Whirly Tail’s just beautiful melodies that feed Math’s vocals. You feel that triumphant and uplifting emotion hit you right in your guts! [VibePoniez] Jyc Row – The Throne of the Elements | Orchestral
Twilight Sparkle is, without a doubt, one of the most relatable and best-developed protagonists you could ask for in western animation history; we, as bronies, lived it through her emotions to the very end. Only Jyc Row, with his debut track on Vibeponiez: Downtown, could put it well with this score; the melodies along with this fanart celebrate Bookhorse’s legacy beautifully; at times, it may sound bittersweet that FiM is over. Fear not, my friends. Friendship never dies; Twilight thought this score lives on forever with how she touched all of us. It is an incredible emotion that makes you smile. Think about this quote by Twilight “Friendship isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely worth fighting for” close your eyes, and imagine twilight smiling with warmth. That’s what this song feels like. Well done, Jyc Row! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Jyc Row – Applejack, Rotten to the Core | Orchestral
As part of his “Elden Wing EP”, named after the Elden Ring game, Jyc Row is doing epic boss themes for some of our favorite ponies! And my oh my did he nail Applejack! The eerie chants create this creepy atmosphere from the very beginning, and once the strings come in this is only ramped up! Giving us a truly bone-chilling track that could appear in a video game exactly like this! And with an end that works almost like an epic crescendo to the whole thing, this masterpiece will send shivers down your spine!

Now this is something you don’t see everyday! [P@D] BlackIceMusic & Namii – Memory | Future Bounce
The king of Pony Bounce is back! For Ponies at Dawn’s latest album, “Zenith” BlackIceMusic brings us yet another fire Future Bounce song, and this time around we’re graced with the gorgeous voice of Namii delivering the catchy lyrics!
This track is fire from the very beginning with a banger intro that features some small vocal chops and a lot of umpf before a little break sends us straight into the first verse. Here Namii‘s incredible voice takes center stage as the kick in the beat disappears completely for a bit before coming back later to tease the build up a little. The build up starts up as you’d expect with the drums building as our drop melody slowly comes in, and some more amazing vocal chops spice things up. Next we get to the drop, which is Future Bounce perfection! We get a vocal fill right as the build up ends that shoots us straight into what is a partially lyric-supported drop; we get a fire melody that makes you get up and dance; and we get a kick that’ll punch you into next Tuesday! As the drop slowly fades Namii’s lovely vocals ease us into Verse 2. For the second build up we go a different route, and instead of the usual drum build, the big kicks start straight away, creating a sort of “drop before the drop”, before we move into the actual drop that hits just as hard as the first one, getting you up and dancing like you never knew you could! Finally we end this banger track in a gorgeous outro, supported by a few more vocal chops.
