Elias Frost – Flawless (covering Daniel Ingram) | Rock

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 27 December 2017.

It was just a matter of time until Elias tackled covering this song, and he’s done it pretty well, as always. With more of a rock slant than usual, his vocals are great, and the mixture of more energetic upbeat sections and some slower parts works well. Check it out for some good fun!

Luck Rock – One Day | Pop Punk / Power Pop

What a powerful song, Changelings need love too! Luck Rock did an awesome punk / power pop anthem, with really catchy lyrics and really awesome guitar riffs and with amazing drumming! The vocals are on point, one of the things that I love from Luck Rock is the vocal harmonies. The lyrics are really deep and I love how it describes the feeling of the Changelings, demanding that they are good and that they demand more love! Good job Luck, keep up the good work!

Rockin’Brony – Kindness (covering AcoustiMandoBrony) | Rock

Rockin’Brony brings us a cover from one of the most iconic Fluttershy songs that has ever been written. As a huge Fluttershy fan myself, this pleases me A LOT. I always enjoy covers from people, but this one really hits home in full honesty. I mean, it definitely hits the nostalgia and I once more feel the power behind this track. The reason why I’m still so proud to be a Brony and support this super happy and creative fandom is helping so many people and doing beautiful things together. Its truly magnificent. It shows that there’s nothing wrong in being proud of what you believe and that kindness is worth fighting, believing, standing up, and dying for. So regardless if you repeat it a lot or you make a lot of songs regarding that, its never wrong to stand up for kindness. So just let them talk, You and I both know that as long as they don’t deliver on what they talk, you can call bullshit. and smash the stereotype. ^^ And as someone that was heavily inspired by this track and is also proud to say he’s a huge fan of Fluttershy, I can definitely speak for her when I say she’s proud of you Rockin, I’m sure of it. 😉 Everybody, show some love man! ❤ Keep it up! one love rock! ❤

Yay! ❤

SayMaxWell – Part of the Swarm (feat. FritzyBeat & ForeverFreest) (The Remixes) | Multi-Genre

The original Part of the Swarm sure was a memorable event, and another great surprise is that it got remixed by a lot of familiar musicians! Above is a playlist of all the remixes. I think my favorite remix is GatoPaint’s, it feels just so freaking epic, as always with GatoPaint’s music and vocals! (Try to listen to the most epic parts in the track while looking at this animationdoesn’t it feel amazing?) And my second favorite would probably be Lin Stilson’s, I thought it was so creative with those chops and that progression! I hope that you can find some favorites in the bunch too, and that you enjoy the remixes like I did!

Soren Ember – Fade Away | Blues

A new release from Soren Ember bringing all the sweet rock influences, this one is about Tempest’s story from the movie! Exploring her feelings during the time she got rejected and alone, Fade Away does a great job at emcompassing the somber and lonely shades of the theme, with vocals howling to the moon, and a bass play that seems to tell the sad story of what happened to Tempest. An awesome tribute!

Bronypalooza’s guitar shredder is back with his first track in a line of upcoming AcoustiMandoBrony covers. In this version of Loyalty, Rockin’Brony adds in his own style to the beloved original. With more emphasis on the crisp guitar work and his own vocals, this cover is an excellent take on one of the early fandom greats!

Sable Symphony – My Past Is Not Today (Cover) | Rock / Metal

BROOOOOO I’m seriously flipping my shit over here. This cover is AMAZING! ❤ I’m usually not into that much of Rock or Metal, but THIS is amazing! As far as I’m conserned, one of the best Covers of the Show AT THIS very moment! The Guitars are just Perfectly placed in this track, as the Vocals are very aligning and cool! Keep it up Sable! I only got love for you bro. ❤ Everybody show some love man.

Thank you for reminding us this one thing; When we face our Memories we don’t want to remember, when we face the odds and face Fear itself, We can stand tall and say it loudly. My Past is Not Today.

Elias Frost – Sunset Blues | Blues

Elias Frost ventures down the blues route in this tribute to Equestria Girls’ resident blue-haired guitar player. As if written by Flash Sentry himself, the lyrics appropriately recall Sunset Shimmer’s manipulation of the poor guy. Frost’s vocals greatly compliment the style, conveying the “blues” emotions of loss and pain along to an incredible guitar track. The entire song is an excellent portrayal of the blues genre (though not surprising given Elias’s particular talent for distinctly different and awesome music)!
