Since the epic return of 4everfreebrony, he’s been unstoppable: after releasing an album and various interesting projects, 4everfreebrony comes back with a cover of the brony classic Good Girl performed by Dasha & The Living Tombstone. But he is not alone – this cover features 13 female voices from the brony music scene including Chi-Chi, Wubcake, Mica, Cadie and many others! I always loved collaborative efforts between various artists.
I recommend this song to everyone! It really has that catchy vibe from the modern Indie Pop acts and it’s an excellent tribute to Dasha’s and TLT’s work.
Jyc Row – Daybreaker, the Solar Empress | Orchestral
Belgian musician Jyc Row returns with an amazing orchestral piece about the “Nightmare Moon” version of Princess Celestia, Daybreaker. Reminscent of the Two Steps From Hell music, Jyc Row bring us an epic track that describes the power and evilness of Daybreaker.
Also this masterpiece came from the Composer Challenge #1: Daybreaker Theme that also included Elias Frost and SDreamExplorerS, who both produced amazing tracks!
Przewalski’s Ponies – Under Our Spell (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Acoustic
Here’s a very sweet and tasteful Acoustic cover of the Dazzlings’ Under Our Spell, full of gorgeous vocals and a cool range of acoustic instruments! Przewalski’s Ponies are a pony band that has also covered this song live and here’s the recording! I also recommend their original pony song (My Life as a) Teenage Wonderbolt!

This remix by underground expert BassPon3 breathes new life into a fandom classic. The catchy, simple synth leads into a brilliant repurposing of Discord’s vocals. Throughout the song, fast, almost chiptune-like effects keep us interested. Of special note are the haunting melodies that evoke vistas of chocolate rain and cotton candy clouds. Some top-quality hardcore for you to enjoy!

APPL3JVCK – WAMMI | Trap
Don’t let your kids listen to this track, cause they could get inspired by Flurry Heart and become a WAMMI! Following DWK’s antics, APPL3JVCK turned the WAMMI concept into as Trap tune that’s as dark as it can get, with a delightful progression and an atmosphere that seems to call for an ascent to madness. This is a side of the pony music scene that I affectionate a lot, and I can’t thank APPL3JVCK enough for this initiative!
Ponytronic – Times Like These (Acoustic Mix) | Chillout
Emotional song warning! This alternate version of Times Like These proves once again Ponytronic’s skill at crafting unique pieces and arrangements reaching out to the soul in the most unexpected ways. There’s just something about that soft, mellow yet melancholic instrumental full of untold depth and beauty, and when the vocal samples come in, that’s when I feel like welling up. A much magnificent Acoustic Mix like you’ve never heard!
