Aside from the obvious vocal talent featured on Otherworldly Journey, Exiark’s use of expertly crafted synths and beat tracking is on full display, and will transport you to another world! There is an excellent sense of a lunar atmosphere in the instrumentation which ranges from symphonic to synth-heavy, and the subtle space vibes will make you feel as though you are dancing with the Princess of the night herself. There is no excuse not to check out this outstanding album!
Author’s note: While I don’t like to compare fandom music to time periods for several reasons, if you had told me that several of the tracks on this album were big hits from the early days of the fandom, I would absolutely believe you. Exiark really makes the music his own style, discernible from other early fandom musicians but there’s something about the quality and energy that takes me back in time with a giant smile on my face.
Tripon – Solay Rays | Drum & Bass
Tripon brings you that dark rolling drum and bass sound in this new track available off his new two side EP. I love the atmosphere set up from the beginning of the song, and that fade out right before everything comes in in the drop is just wonderful. The bassline is nice and dark, just like you’d expect coming from Tripon and the atmosphere in the drop is just amazing. Be sure to check this song out and grab the EP if you like what you hear!

Tripon – Celestial Forces | Drum & Bass
Regarding facing up to certain Forces to be reckoned with, I think this Track pretty much outshines them all. I love the synthwaves in the beggining with the slowly upcoming Vibes drum vibes with the bass thrill coming through loud and clear. Its really cool. 🙂 Tripon, you did an awesome job my man! Celestia smiles upon you. We can definitly feel the force. ❤

I was so excited when I saw that Nevermourn remixed R3CTIFIER‘s Flutterchops-powered Break the Silence, and I wasn’t disappointed! Showing an amazing musical vision once more, the musician turned around the chops to present them in a new composition and progression. Along the tasty DnB arrangement and enthralling bassline, the chops are making this remix reach new heights of coolness and style, and it’s all so blissful to listen to!
Sia – Rainbow (Lavender Remix) | Drum & Bass
Lavender’s classic sound design and energetic beats are applied to Sia’s amazing song from the MLP Movie! I’ve enjoyed many of her previous songs, and it was a genuine pleasure to see her do another fully pony one again. I listened to Rainbow on repeat for several days straight, and I’ll probably do the same with this remix!
Filly in the Box – Then Comes Ice (Sky Runner Remix) | Drum & Bass
Man, this remix is straight up the Bomb. This remix really knows how to get this started. ^^ the techno vibes and drumstep flow is absolutely astonishing. as for the vocal chops; WOW! just, wow. I love this man! It really catches the mood and flow greatly. I think the name is kinda confusing though… How is the ice coming if this is Fire? .3. and yes, this track is fire! I definitly reccomend putting everything on 100% volume and just bouncing on and on on this! ❤ Filly this is amazing man! keep up the good work! everybody, you know what to do. ❤
