You may remember the two previous albums released by the crew over at Horse Music Central, their last one being released at Christmas with a distinct wintry theme. Now the regulars of the big musicians’ Discord server have another release to offer. Although no specific theme this time, it features some of the more underground artists, as well as a few classic long-running musicians.

MC-Arch – Ave Cadenza (Power Of Love) | Hip-Hop
A new powerful and meaningful song from genuine rapper MC-Arch, this one truly lives up to its theme, with a beautiful and heartfelt message about love and its emotions expressed through amazing and mellow vocals. The correlation with the Princess of Love, Cadance, was definitely well thought and well put, and the love expressed through the tender vocals is certainly a wonderful homage to her. The whole song is just making me melt, with the vocal melodies and repetitions being very heartwarming and impactful, just like the lyrics. And personally I couldn’t agree more with the message of this song, since as someone who genuinely feels so much love for many people and the whole brony community, I certainly know very well the Power Of Love, the powerful feelings of love in my heart, the happiness it grants me, the powerful emotions I feel that often make me tear up when I think about you all or daydream about meeting you… It truly is wonderful. Let us open the gate…
Aurelleah – Lunar Whispers | Orchestral
Ah yes! It seems like Aurelleah is back at it again with yet another beautiful composition. The sweet, soft piano offers you listeners an array of soothing sounds as you let the cool air brush off your skin into the night sky. The symphonic choirs are also an amazing touch to the course throughout the rest of this piece. While it was commissioned, based on a FimFiction story out there called A Whispered Lullaby, it is definitely one of the most relaxing orchestrated song out there in this fandom to date. It’s also perfect for dreaming too!
Modern Bard – The Magistral Crystal Empire | Orchestral
French musician Modern Bard comes back with a remake of an older track about the Crystal Empire. The progression and instrumentation of the track bounce together to form one great track! The flute melodies are so well performed in this track, reminding me of Celtic music.
An incredible tribute to Crystal Empire, very philosophical and reflecting masterpiece. You will love it!
Totalspark – Downstairs | Jazz / Glitch Hop
This innovative track pairs glitch hop with jazz in a groovy, swingy and absolutely superb way. The hoofstep intro leads into a well-produced and very fun track. The beeps, growls, and bzzts are organized like a classic jazz piece, and the saxophone-esque synth halfway really drives the point home. Anyone who likes either glitch hop or jazz should give this a listen – or 5!

The second I saw Daybreaker in that episode I thought to myself, “Oh sweet Celestia of Equestria, this is going to inspire a lot of good music.” Frozen Night delivered big time with more of his excellent Orchestral Metal. The haunting melody of the choir leading into the epic swells, tastefully infused with metal, gives it such a beastly vibe. Seriously, brace yourself for one hell of a ride, this one is definitely a keeper. Be sure to grab it on his bandcamp and check out his other tunes too!
SDreamExplorerS – Sun Worshipper | Metal
Instrumental metal, now that’s a genre I’m not well acquainted with! But SDreamExplorerS definitely makes a case for me to get to know it better. An eerie, foreboding intro leads into an energetic and dark song. SDreamExplorS’s skill on guitar is amazing, as is the overall composition. This piece is a vision into a world scarred by flame and light. Come along and see the devastation!
Delta Brony – Daybreaker Boss Battle Theme | Soundtrack
Get your raid gear together and make sure you’re a high enough level for this epic boss battle theme made by the legendary Delta Brony. High octane strings, choirs, and drums clash in this duel of the century that even features a “Critical” version of the track that plays should you near victory. With a brilliant mix down and wonderful usage of his music theory, Delta does it again setting the mood for a truly glorious and bold new entry in his vast arsenal of orchestral pieces.
4everfreebrony feat. All The Mares – Good Girl (Covering Dasha & The Living Tombstone) | Indie Pop
Since the epic return of 4everfreebrony, he’s been unstoppable: after releasing an album and various interesting projects, 4everfreebrony comes back with a cover of the brony classic Good Girl performed by Dasha & The Living Tombstone. But he is not alone – this cover features 13 female voices from the brony music scene including Chi-Chi, Wubcake, Mica, Cadie and many others! I always loved collaborative efforts between various artists.
I recommend this song to everyone! It really has that catchy vibe from the modern Indie Pop acts and it’s an excellent tribute to Dasha’s and TLT’s work.
Jyc Row – Daybreaker, the Solar Empress | Orchestral
Belgian musician Jyc Row returns with an amazing orchestral piece about the “Nightmare Moon” version of Princess Celestia, Daybreaker. Reminscent of the Two Steps From Hell music, Jyc Row bring us an epic track that describes the power and evilness of Daybreaker.
Also this masterpiece came from the Composer Challenge #1: Daybreaker Theme that also included Elias Frost and SDreamExplorerS, who both produced amazing tracks!
