It is filled with themes and elements that are sure to please it with its exotic percussion, mythic choirs, and mindbending composition. It’s a real pleasure that Kallo Skull has put together! This track has such good timing and good vibes this song is! Right on time, the summer, With more and more bronies getting the vaccine for Gen 5, is not too far away, and the return of in-person pony conventions! It’s summer again like bronies want it! Koron Korak treats us to this delightful and sunny track on a bright and warm day for The Mane 6 and their pals. It has a smooth, light feeling with the melodies with these uplifting violin notes that Koron is known so well for. The track flows with the sunny and fun vibe of a day at the beach or a convention with your friends! Give Koron some love for this happy piece! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself!

Who would have thought than an animated show featuring colorful ponies could and would give rise to a gifted and inspiring community that thrives on love, creativity, and the magic of friendship? Well, to quote my fellow writer, DrakeEmberHeart, once again, “art inspires art,” and MLP has indeed inspired countless artists across the globe to create a bottomless well of artistic creativity that includes visual art and animation, short stories and full-fledged novels, fun games, and amazing musical compositions.

You know, my friends, I’ve noticed a trend this year of musicians going back and giving their early works an excellent polish and remixing! This track was done in 2017 by Yuru the Redstone Brony. It shows a musician’s desire to use improved skills and give old music the right feeling!
This song now has more boom to it! We’ve always been behind Twilight’s growth as a character to the end of the series. The more upbeat vibe and that sweet keyboard, The vibe that grows of twilight sparkle maturing more and more as elements get more profound as the song goes along. Yeah, this VIP does the message justice! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
Steryotype – Study Tapes Vol.1 | Album | Lo-fi
Here’s something different and vibe-y! Study Tapes Vol.1 is Steryotype’s brand new beat tape – full of creative productions and samples that show off the innovative possibilities of the lo-fi genre. Most of the tracks last just long enough to set the tone and get some solid samples, while a few of the tracks on this tape are fleshed out and meant to stand on their own.
One of the standout demos is called Bleu and combines a more lively jazz beat with a trumpet carrying the melody. Combined with the lo-fi soundscape and a couple of charismatic chops, this sample really grabs your attention and is super fun to nod along to.
The longest track on the 19 track tape is UnVerguenza which utilizes the marimba for the melody and a subtle piano to fill out the background. This chill song is the quintessential lo-fi beat – chill, not too complicated, stands on its own, and is perfect to get lost in.
Study Tapes Vol.1 shows off a lot of what lo-fi fandom music can be, and hopefully we will get to see some of these tracks put to great use. Steryotype represents the genre well and has a great commitment to his craft. Lookout for more from this talented creator and hopefully we will get a Volume 2 in the future!

This uplifting track could fit well as a BGM for some kind of event in Cloudsdale and perhaps that was part of its concept! Electronic elements blended with Orchestral elements are making for a creative experience savored best while imagining a scene happening in Cloudsdale with your favorite ponies!

Creative even when blinded, this new endeavor by Ponytronic is sharing some more story and thoughts involving Tavi and Vinyl as you can read from the description, all while laying out a progression of sound design and rhythmic wonders!
Acid Applejack x Valoria – 20% Louder | Bass House / Future House
Who’s up for a nostalgic song making use of classic pony vocal samples, all while feeling so fresh? Check out Acid Applejack’s new collab with Valoria and how they’re calling back to the early days, or rather, keep those special days happening in the present!!
Cherry Blossom – Fluttershy’s Peace | Orchestral / Acoustic
Cherry Blossom aka MidnightFritz presents us their own share of so many wonders with a lovely Fluttersong featuring the art of Aquila and their daughter! A tribute to the episode Filli Vanilli and its moral, the piece conveys soothing vibes that Flutter would approve of! Also, that title has got to remind me of Kyne’s Peace from the OST of Skyrim!
Glimm – PRINCESSES | Album | Electronic
MAGIC!, inspired by and representing every princess in this princess-themed album, is the opener to PRINCESSES by IAmGlimm. Glitch-hop inspired drums and basses accompanied by slap bass guitars ready your ears for this joyous album! The track that follows that swing-y piece is CADENZA, glittered with saw stabs, trap-inspired drums and a lush, reverberant piano that gives this track its sense of wonderous melody. With melodies, basses, and drums that are reminiscent of 90’s era trance, ILLUMINATE MY NIGHT represents Princess Luna in this album, and also acts as my personal favorite track. Last but not least, the sounds from the finishing track ENLIGHTEN emit pure euphoria. With vocal chops, sine sub-basses, and a lively second drop, ENLIGHTEN represents Princess Celestia. Although it’s a relatively small release, PRINCESSES is energetic, bouncy, and fleshed-out enough to gratify a listen or two!
