Today we’ve got ourselves a lovely Chillout track by the amazing Altius Volantis. The song starts out with a lovely, calm melody that is soon joined by an equally relaxed synth and even more. As the song progresses most of these elements subside, and in the end the gentle melody carries us away on the night breeze. This is another song I really recommend for just lying down and putting on repeat as you just, well, chill out, as the calming beat is perfect for that. There are no big beat fireworks here, just the gentle reassurance that the spark of friendship will carry you through anything.

SeriousDamir – The Frost | Eurobeat
Did this Hearth’s Warming Eve come up a little bit short for you? Are you determined to cling to holiday cheer until you are absolutely certain that you have nothing further to fear from Windigos? Well, then might I suggest giving this excellent holiday-themed Eurobeat tune by SeriousDamir a spin or five! The fantastic instrumental opening sets the mood with both a wonderful sleigh bell rhythm and bell melody before the synth and drums kick in and launch the song into a blast of holiday cheer. SeriousDamir intended for this song to be an uplifting affair with the message that even though life can sometimes get you down you will always have friends who will help pick you back up, and the lyrics and vocals fit that theme perfectly. There are some really nice changes throughout the song where the Eurobeat melody is carried by the bells, keys, guitar, or vibraphone, and the artist also creates a nice choir effect heading into the chorus that compliments the main vocals really well. It’s all paired with a lovely lyric video complete with falling snow animation, so pour another glass cider and remember that good friends and holiday cheer will always be there for you!
Dandelion – With Borrowed Wings | Ambient Pop
If you haven’t been listening to Dandelion, you really should! Their ability to create unique and innovative soundtracks is apparent with each and every new release. With Borrowed Wings is an extremely peaceful and gorgeous song. The theme explores a pony afterlife which is made apparent by the heavenly design and instrumentation. Helen the vocalist has an angelic voice which sings softly over a subtle, bright synth. Some dream-like bells are mixed in with light percussion to really give life to the tack. Brilliantly designed and original, make sure to check out this song and more from Dandelion’s channel!
StableTwoStallion – Maud | Industrial Metal
There’s no questions StableTwoStallion is the reigning king of the industrial sound, having released several tracks in the genre last year. Sung in German, this dark, heavy track is about the working live and personality of the titular Maud Pie. The guitars are tuned down and carry a dirty, distortion while the drum snare and kick hit hard to emphasize the powerful nature of the track.
StealingShad3z – Pretty Penny Betting Her Last Dime | Pop Punk
Today we return to StealingShad3z with a Friendship with Benefits Song! The song starts out with a bit of instrumental giving it some time to build up before the vocals begin (as I did with the article for Vylet Pony’s “LESBIAN PONIES WITH WEAPONS”, I’m gonna tackle the lyrics for this one in a separate part later on). While the vocals are going on the song builds up in the background preparing for the chorus. For the chorus Shad3z delivers some lovely vocals while the background music is still building up, culminating in a short but sweet Instrumental part before we go on to the next verse. In the next verse the background music maintains the awesome level of the chorus to keep you rockin’ along, and as the chorus returns the instrumental just keeps ramping up! Even after we start the next verse the music keeps building and building! The music only calms down for a little pre-chorus before immediately returning to the upbeat final form of the instrumental before ending on a sharp note, which is a really great touch.

[ASOS] Cynifree – Love Everything | Future House
Today we’ve got ourselves another amazing track from A State Of Sugar’s “Chocolate” Album. Cynifree brings us an awesome Future House track featuring some lovely Flutters Vocal chops. The track starts out with a catchy drum loop that’s quickly joined by all sorts of other amazing stuff and turns into a lovely melody accompanied by vocal chops of our favorite shy horse! Later on the melody changes a bit only to change back later which gives the song an interesting progression that’s more like different chapters to the song rather than verses and drops. Closer to the end we do actually get a drop that really feels like another chapter since it never really comes back down and rather combines with other elements for sort of a final chapter.

[P@D] NeverLastStanding & loophoof – Delusion | Electro
What a great tribute to Queen Chrysalis! I love the description that NeverLastStanding provided for the video, which explains the ebb and flow of the song between its darker, attacking passages where Chrysalis is at the height of her power and the lighter passages where she is biding her time and waiting to strike again. The song begins with the queen bug horse planning her latest attack and sets the table with lovely atmospheric effects, strings, and vocal chops before launching into a frayed, distorted, pounding melee where the synth waves do so well to personify the waves of changelings. The melodic break is a really great counterpoint to the “evil drops” and harder passages, almost allowing a sense of calm and happiness, but there is always something percolating at the edges of this tale, and it’s not long before the progression ramps up, not once but twice, to its final crescendo. The retention of the more blissful elements before distorting them during the final drop is really effective narratively. Though the song ends on a hopeful note, how long will we all be safe from such a tenacious foe?
PeKaNo – A Giant Pumpkin Is Trying To Eat Pinkie | Tribecore
PeKaNo has been around for a long time and it is always great to see a new song from them! This Nightmare Nights themed track has a lot of great elements, from the percussive horror-screeching, to the modulated synth, to the uber-catchy beat! It’s great to see niche sub-genres represented as well; tribecore is a fast form of free tekno and PeKaNo has a talent for using it to bridge fast, hardcore elements into something more melodic while maintaining all the intensity of a great Nightmare Nights track!
Zizkil – Zizkil Digs Through His Garbage Can Cuz He Dropped His Keys In The Trash Can | Album | Various Genres
So, everypony, today we’ve got an album full of amazing randomness by Zizkil. The whole album is a compilation of unfinished songs he made over time, and it includes both small pieces of unfinished songs and songs that are pretty much finished but haven’t been released. He himself says that some songs on this album might be considered cringe, but either way there’s a plethora of different genres on it! This article’s intention is to highlight some of these great songs, both short and long, because there really is some good stuff on here!

Zephysonas – Windport | Orchestral
Today we’ve got ourselves a shorter song by Zephysonas. “Windport” is a lovely Orchestral piece that gives you this feeling of summer and of freedom. The song starts out with a happy, upbeat, summer-y melody using lovely instruments that you immediately associate with going away on holidays. Later more instruments join in and give the whole song this vibe that made me think of Venice, which makes for a great theme. Closer to the end the instruments evoke a chill day on the beach. Overall, this sunny piece with vacation vibes is a welcome change to all the cold and snowy weather outside.
