Quicksilver releases an amazing EP with a lot of awesome tracks with a lot of Pop/Skate/Emo Punk influences. This EP is really short, so I guess that I’ll do a track by track review. Catch it after the break!

Daniel Ingram – Flawless (UndreamedPanic Remix) | Electro Pop / Bubblegum Dance
The 14th episode of the season 7 got me attention because of the funny Rarity face and because of the amazing song composed by Daniel Ingram in there – Flawless. But I guess that this song also got attention to other people, such as UndreamedPanic. And what Panic did with the song is simply divine!
The vocals chops and the Equestria Girl song feeling that Panic gave to the song are 2 of the things that made this remix great. We know Panic from his originals that are pretty awesome, but what we don’t know is that Panic also can make pretty good remixes, and the Flawless remix is one of them. Basically all the instrumentation added by Panic is awesome and it have that modern pop feeling that it will make you dance till the end of the night! The vocal chops, the vocal chops! Well performed and well done Panic!
4EverfreeBrony – Hello | Acoustic Pop
4everfreebrony has written another song, this time with a truly unique theme. It’s about a spider who has a crush on Fluttershy! 4everfreebrony’s classic vocals are crisp, longing, and melodic, and the synths and piano are beautiful. Easy to listen to and very sweet, this song put a big silly smile on my face and warmth in my heart.
[P@D] Luna Ticks – Empathy Is For The Common Folk | Skate Punk / Pop Punk
Coming from the latest Ponies At Dawn album: Guardians, the supergroup consisted by the multi-instrumentalist Quicksilver and the iconic vocalist Francis Vace made a 2 minutes pop punk with skate punk feel track inspired by Rainbow Dash.
The mastering made on the track is amazing, also here we can see the lyrical capacity of Francis Vace and that his vocals are very iconic in this fandom. Quicksilver composition for the instrumental is also on point, the guitar riffs and the bassline plus the awesome drums are very well performed. This track reminds me of Skate Punk/Pop Punk/Melodic Hardcore acts like Sum 41, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Green Day and The Offspring.
Damn son, why you didn’t download Guardians yet? Make that now (Or if you are rich, buy it).
St. Pinkie & Meelz – See You At SEAPonyCon! (Official Theme Song) | Pop Rock
Probably the friendliest and cutest pony con anthem and invitation ever, this much welcoming song from St. Pinkie and Meelz is accompanied by an awesome video/PMV by JackDC93 and it all does a great job at conveying the very friendly spirit of the convention, and all the sweet pony feelings! Check the other videos on the channel, the ponies behind SEAPonyCon are awesome! And join the party there if you can!! There will even be a full-fledged orchestral performance and tribute to Melodic Pony held by The Seapony Orchestra and led by Sonic Hooves who we featured on our site before! See this epic trailer!
Quicksilver – Set Sail | Pop Punk / Emo-Pop
Amazing song coming from one of the hottest voices of the New Wave of Brony Punk – Quicksilver! The song about the episode P.P.O.V. (Pony Point of View) has awesome guitar riffs, good drum beats and the vocals are very similar to some modern pop punk / emo-pop acts. It’s a song full of energy and some guitars riffs are really atmospheric. Be sure to listen to this!
FlutterDash Records – Lend a Hoof | Pop
Something simple but sweet to end the day. FlutterDash records is a new duo from the Pacific Northwest just starting out writing and recording some of their own songs. While the production leaves something to be desired here, the songwriting and lyrics particularly stand out here. I guess in that sense it’s similar to how I’d describe Indie Notes‘ music – stripped back but nice, well-written songs. So here’s to hoping we see some more from these two in the future!
[P@D] Flittzy – You And I | Alternative Dance / Alternative Pop
Another great track from the newest and awesome P@D album: Guardians. Flittzy bring us a great tune reminding me of 90’s music acts such as Primal Scream. This tune, which talks about the relation between Twilight and Princess Luna, has everything for becoming the best song on this great album full of surprises! First the vocals are well performed, Flittzy does an awesome job singing and we already know that! Second is the writing capacity of Flittzy, those lyrics were really cool, awesome and with some really meaningful messages. Third is the mixing and instrumentation, the instrumental is very good and the mix between the guitars and the drum machine was pretty awesome, don’t forget the mix between the instrumental and the vocals that was pretty kickass also!
Don’t forget to buy or download the full Guardians to listen and admire other artists from this lovely fandom! I LOVE YOU ALL ’cause You and I take part in something greater!
[P@D] 4EverfreeBrony – Chant of Benevolence (feat. Chi-Chi) | Choral / Acoustic Pop
4everfreebrony, 4everfreebrony! You came back on strong! Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you, one of the best tracks from the latest Ponies At Dawn album: Guardians!
We know how imaginative and productive is 4everfreebrony and how many good music he bring to us during this years, but, there’s a series that will come along with his name. That series is The Chant Series, in that series, 4everfreebrony bring a genre of music that is rare in the brony fandom. Choral Music. Always counting with the female vocals of the great Chi-Chi! Her vocals are soo amazing, that I can’t describe how it sounds because it’s really amazing! First we got Chant of Immortality talking about Twilight, then we receive Chant of Mirth and now we got Chant of Benevolence that is about Fluttershy. The last is pretty amazing! The vocals of Chi-Chi always gave me chills down my spine and 4everfreebrony’s singing and instrumentals are really well performed and with a great mixing quality!
At the end, I think that 4everfreebrony came again to rock on and live forever! Also, hoping that he will make the chants for Dashie, Rara and AJ. Don’t forget to buy or download the full P@D album: GUARDIANS!
UnderpΩny & FritzyBeat – Buttercup | Pop
FritzyBeat returns with this “hugging” song inspired partly by UnderpΩny’s “My Arms Around Her” (about Applejack) that talks about the relationship between Buttercup and Bright Mac. Fritzy received mixing help from PrinceWhateverer that turned out to help this great song!
The vocals are soo good! Fritzy even made falsettos that gave me chills down my spine! You should really check out this song! Just watch the 10th episode of the 7th Season first… Damn, such a good episode…
