This track really does live up to its name, with its non-stop vibe of hope as well as a general uplifting feeling. It uses some epic electronic music (with the usual bass drops), drums, with a little bit of piano used throughout the track, to make a distinct, wonderful sound.
Remix
Daniel Ingram – Legend You Were Meant To Be (Rod Steven Remix) | Eurobeat
Eurobeat still lives, and no, it is just not one well known musician that can do it. Rod Steven comes at us with a rush of dance magic. Taking the heavily uplifting sound of Mr. Ingram’s song, “Legend You Were Meant To Be” and supercharges the sound of fast and fun eurobeat remix. The song we all know from EQG about finding your true self and inspire to be better. Rod just injects the mood a bit more, throwing in rad and fast melodies to a already positive song. You will be dancing back into a great mood. It’s a really fun and great effort of Rod’s work. As always this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself. Also catch Rod making his main stage debut at Whinny City ponycon 2020!
Knife Pony – Stay (Light Assassin Remix) | Synthstep
80s synthpop meets 2010s dubstep in this fantastic remix of Knife Pony‘s Stay by Light Assassin. This take on the original is faster and blends synthwave and dubstep with Feather‘s vocal track, including a drop that perfectly combines the two genres. The most beautiful part is the breakdown after the drop with rain sounds and soft arpeggiated synths as Feather sings. It’s a nice change of pace from the original, and certainly refreshing to hear Feather’s voice again. If only she’d come back!
Mr. A.M. – Vinyl’s Wake (AWal Remix) | UK Hardcore
(Listen to Mr. A.M’s/Reil Tunez Original here)
This would be a pretty good example of a remix that’s night and day from the original Mr. A.M. who now goes by Reil Tunez song was a deep and prowling threat level of a banger. This however turns that up with fast but simple beats that adds an enjoyable pace making more of a high energy boost . Both songs remind you of the different moods of Vinyl. One would be she is putting on a show in an upscale Canterlot club. The other is Vinyl’s house party style. With her loud boosting, and over the top fun with her vocal chops making sure its a good time for everypony. Enjoy these bangers for yourself. It’s a good effort from AWal with fun music. [Equinity] NeverLastStanding – Your Friend (Whirly Tail Remix) | Happy Hardcore
(Listen to the Neverlaststanding’s Original here)
You know my friend Whirly Tail is the kind of musician that seems to be full of surprises. Somehow he took a song like” Your Friend”. Then he found a way to remix it to be even happier for Equinity 01: Stellar. The original was full of light hearted feelings and energy of the fandom itself. Whirly then upped the tempo. Adds some deep pounding bass and what I like to call digital bongo’s. He slows the sound down in breaks then break backs into the energy of meaning “a true true friend indeed”. It’s a lovely remix that has all the feels of the original with his own brand of happiness and trust me HE’s a happy GUY!. I expect nothing less from a goof ball like Whirly Tail but guy with talent also. As always this Qilin asks you for judge for yourself.

All the brass and strings instruments with a touch of today’s electronica, plus a touch of real sax from Dr. Thallium It’s time to learn that Equestrian two step. Flutter Rex – Pink Lick (Checkerëd Remix) | FuturePsy
It seems Checkerëd has a knack for remixing some really old but gold MLP fan tunes! Pink Lick is one of them, and their remix of the Flutter Rex original really changes things up! Checkerëd’s version has a faster pace and lots of trippy synthlines, including a unique trap beat as a soft supplement between the heavier bits. Prepare for the bass!
Vylet Pony – Queen of Misfits (feat. Cabi and Namii) (RottenTotten Remix) | Synthpop
Remember when I said Last Tempest would become the new Discord? Well, Queen of Misfits might have taken that title. RottenTotten’s remix changes the vocal rhythm up a little while retaining the original’s 80s influence with the synths and drums. The drum samples and added piano chords give the song a more natural edge, as if it was recorded in a studio. Just a little change can add so much!
Kryptage – Ballad of the Brony VIP | Breakbeat
After a couple years’ hiatus, Kryptage has returned with a VIP version of 2012’s Ballad of the Brony! With a new coat of paint, the instruments have been remastered to sound better than ever, even trading the original’s vocal chops for samples of Saberspark talking about the fandom and the impact it’s had. With more and more names returning, it’s clear the fandom’s not going anywhere anytime soon!
Vylet Pony – Queen of Misfits (ft. Cabi and Namii) (Zizkil Remix) | Electropop
The Queen of Misfits remixes are crawling out through the woodworks. Retaining the original vocals and some 80s synths, Zizkil’s remix showcases an electropop style, with sprinklings of other musical elements, such as a choir, punchy 80s style bass sounds and even a reggae beat at one point. The sound design is pristine and clear as glass, and serves as a supplement to the already great original.
