Another P@D album? And so soon too! But there’s a difference with this new one. Memories is a compilation of songs previously released as singles by various artists from the Ponies At Dawn collective, brought together as an alternative representation of the collective, and with a charitable initiative too.
All the money raised from this album will be donated to Save the Children (specifically the Australian branch), an international charity that promotes children’s rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries.
You can still download this compilation album for free from the Ponies At Dawn bandcamp page if you’re unable to donate, but if you are able to, thanks for helping a charitable cause! Enjoy the music and relive the memories these songs bring back to you!
Daniel Ingram – Time To Be Awesome (Faulty Remix) | House
Brought to you by Daniel Ingram, and remixed by Faulty, this work has to be one of the most beautiful house tracks this fandom has to offer! The composition of the instrumentation is well-made to fit perfectly with the Rainbow Dash vocals. Also, the vocal chops make for a nice lead in the breakdown. This song is just so polished, it deserves more recognition; like it needs on a Dude Perfect or People are Awesome video. Go give it a listen if you haven’t already!

Mikuma – Raindrops (feat. Namii) (L.M. Remix) | Future Bass
LucienMusique returns to present us a tasty Future Bass remix of Mikuma‘s collab with Namii, and it is brimming with the musician’s expert hoof and creative vision. Laying out the vocals in a whole new progression, it brings mellow vibes as well as sick synth and percussion work reminiscent of Grey’s remix of Zedd’s Papercut (which has been adapted into an amazing PMV, by the way).
[ASOS] TPressleyJ – Shockwave (AnimatronicPony & Nevermourn Remix) | Hybrid Trap
TPressleyJ’s story-infused track Shockwave didn’t go unnoticed, and AnimatronicPony and Nevermourn teamed up to reawaken the song with a new body of wubs and bass! The story narrating part was even re-voiced by Nevermourn himself which is adding quite a lot to the track! Definitely a very lovely remix, it brings sick and powerful beats fitting for the impact of a Shockwave!
Daniel Ingram – Best Friends Until the End of Time (iblank2apples Remix) | Future House
Short yet very sweet, this is iblank2apples’ Future House take at the definitely very popular Best Friends Until the End of Time! Exploring in new musical directions is always cool, and Blankie did a great job at expanding on the happy vibes of the original with mellow wubs and clean percussions!
Zizkil – She Only Comes Out At Night (TCB Remix) | Dubstep

TCB’s unique sound design is all over this new track, a remix of Zizkil’s recent Flutterbat-track. There’s some pretty aggressive sound design that mixes well with the spooky atmosphere of the original, and TCB’s mixing is clearly improving too. The vocal chops in the break add to the dark feel, and overall this is a real cool remix.
Ponytronic – Near Clear Skies (iblank2apples Remix) | Melodic Dubstep

Another new track from iblank2apples, something I certainly wouldn’t complain about! This one’s a melodic dubstep track that takes Ponytronic’s original in a pretty exciting new direction. There’s plenty of blank’s customary sound design, however the dubstep tempo definitely helps it shine in a different way and the melodic interjections are excellent.
Nevermourn – Nighttime Aria (Greyfade & Butterflight Remix) | Future Garage
This remix of Nevermourn‘s “Nighttime Aria” is a beautiful take on the original dusk tribute. Greyfade and Butterflight create more of a space-y, atmospheric feel to really emphasize the “nighttime” emotion of the track. It is a gorgeous piece of music, especially if you are looking for some great chill-out pony tunes!
