PegasYs’ talent across all aspects of music production never fails to amaze me, so it’s no surprise that his latest P@D contribution is just as fantastic as always. The blend of trap elements and neuro basses, all applied into the double harmonic major scale to give it that Middle Eastern vibe is perfect. Pega’s actually about to start focusing more on his professional alias, Elysen, and you can find his new channel over here which will feature not just music, but tutorials and videos exploring music theory and other neat stuff. [P@D] Tridashie feat. IMShadow007 and Brittney Ackerman – Pony Girl (TPressleyJ Remix) | Hybrid Trap

We’ve had a few remixes of the song from Tridashie’s mega-hit animation ‘Pony Girl’, but this one from the quickly-improving TPressleyJ is probably my favourite so far! It makes excellent use of the vocals in a minimalist atmosphere between the drops, which are full of some pretty awesome heavy hybrid trap sound design.

[P@D] John Kenza – Moonbow | Future / Melodic Trap

Released as another super-hyped promo for the new Ponies @ Dawn compilation album, “Rebirth”, Moonbow is John Kenza‘s big addition to the colossal project. Well known for his vast array of top notch work, Kenza creates excellent vocal chops in combination with fun synth melodies and moving beat for an all-around enjoyable track. Themed after the princess of the night, you’ll want to be sure to check out this hit and don’t forget to download the new Ponies @ Dawn release it was written for this Friday!

[P@D] Hydra – Iced Coffee | Melodic Trap

With the newest Ponies at Dawn around the Corner, we enter the movement once again with a beautiful Melodic Trap made by Hydra. I don’t understand however how this Coffee is still Iced though, at least my coffee would be all warm since this beat is fire. ^^ the vocal chops are pretty cool. The synths and beat are smooth and slick and I just really enjoy the vibe it gives off – pretty mystical and hard as well. The build-up and everything around it is awesome. Keep it up Hydra, and congrats with getting on P@D ^^

JOSHH – Summer Sun Celebration | Trap

Remember that one episode when Celestia was telling Twilight about her suppressed feelings of sorrow about the Summer Sun Celebration and what it reminded her of? Well here’s a musical take on those dark feelings in Trap format, with JOSHH’s intricate and deep vibes much fitting to the theme, and even a vocal callback from the episode. Definitely a success, this track is another example of a pony concept brilliantly transcribed through music!

Inkwel – Passive Kindness | Hybrid Trap

Passive Kindness sounds like the musical embodiment of Fluttershy’s “You’re going to love me” side from the S1 finale, with the heavy drops representing her unleashing her anger, and the Trap beat acting as a great accompaniment to her badapple look at that moment. There can definitely be many sides to a pony and even to kindness, as this song illustrates!

JOSHH – Life In Memoriam | Instrumental Hip-Hop / Chill Trap

An experimental and chill beat done by JOSHH, the emotional sounds mixed with the classic 808’s of the trap with some really cool field recordings makes the beat a really sad and emotional one. A great work done here, also the beat is free to use but please give credit to this amazing artist. An emotional work that should be remembered! Good job JOSHH!

Wootmaster – Magic Bling (Mikuma Remix) | Future Trap

The original mix of Raindrops wasn’t the only surprise in Mikuma’s highly-awaited Pastel Dreams EP, as it actually includes an instrumental remix of Wootmaster‘s classic Magic Bling! Now released in full and including the original vocals, this remix definitely gives a very unique touch to the song with Mikuma’s signature sound and talent at Future genres. It also plays around with the vocals, to produce an enthralling experience of sound, presenting Magic Bling like you’ve never heard it before!

Ah, yeah!  Love us some trap and future bass here, coming from The Dark Side!  Inspired by John Joseco and his Princess Molestia webcomic, with Trap Nation style visuals, this song is sure to be appreciated by brony bassheads everywhere.  From the emotional chord progressions to the cool sub falls and filthy drops, this track has a nice combination of both trap in major and minor keys.  Nice job, Dark Side!
