[P@D] Luna Ticks – Empathy Is For The Common Folk | Skate Punk / Pop Punk

Coming from the latest Ponies At Dawn album: Guardians, the supergroup consisted by the multi-instrumentalist Quicksilver and the iconic vocalist Francis Vace made a 2 minutes pop punk with skate punk feel track inspired by Rainbow Dash.

The mastering made on the track is amazing, also here we can see the lyrical capacity of Francis Vace and that his vocals are very iconic in this fandom. Quicksilver composition for the instrumental is also on point, the guitar riffs and the bassline plus the awesome drums are very well performed. This track reminds me of Skate Punk/Pop Punk/Melodic Hardcore acts like Sum 41, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Green Day and The Offspring.

Quicksilver – Malefactor | Punk Rock

The opener track of a new EP from Quicksilver dropping this weekend, Malefactor has a resolutely Punk theme conducted masterfully in a Punk Rock arrangement not lacking of Hard Rock vibes. A musical homage to Gilda’s point of view in her debut episode Griffon the Brush Off from S1, the song definitely expresses her feelings with force using the power of rock music and it is such a delight!

[LDB] Dashtortion – 15 Years (feat. Sable Symphony) | Melodic Metalcore

Coming from the hottest compilation album right now: Lycan Dese Beats 3 we have this rocking track about the fanfiction My Little Dashie done by the supergroup composed by StealingShadez and SlightlyAmiss, featuring the screaming capacity of Sable Symphony (previously MetalPony).

This track has really a Bullet From My Valentine feeling, the guitar riffs done by Slightly, the clean vocals done by Shadez and the harsh one done by Sable, everything has a BFMV feel. This is really good, I recommend if you are fan of Melodic Metalcore acts that mixes clean with harsh vocals!

Quicksilver – Set Sail | Pop Punk / Emo-Pop

Amazing song coming from one of the hottest voices of the New Wave of Brony Punk – Quicksilver! The song about the episode P.P.O.V. (Pony Point of View) has awesome guitar riffs, good drum beats and the vocals are very similar to some modern pop punk / emo-pop acts. It’s a song full of energy and some guitars riffs are really atmospheric. Be sure to listen to this!

The Wonderbolts – Love and Tolerance is Dead | Classic Rock

My favorite pony band The Wonderbolts are going to perform at BronyCon and along these awesome news they’re treating us with an exclusive song proudly wearing a much Punk Rock title, Love and Tolerance is Dead! You can always count on Wootmaster, Arin, and the rest of the band to deliver the most delightful pony spirit in a tasteful rock fashion by making the amps scream and the guitars gently weep, and this one is no exception! Wootmaster’s lovely vocals are evolving from his signature style to a much more Classic Rock approach through the progression of the song and that is definitely an amazing surprise, with Classic Rock passion from the musician and singer shining through the masterful and nostalgic vocals that definitely make for a lot of emotion. Along catchy riffs and crazy drum work, the song lays out such a sweet and delectable vibe full of the power of rock music, and then it is time for the solo part to blow us away in a swirl of emotion, as lead guitar, rythm guitar, and bass guitar all complete each other for a stunning result. Sweet Celestia, this is amazing! PrinceWhateverer brings us a rock song overloaded with the absolute highest level of hype. Themed around Starlight and Twilight’s climactic battle in the Season 5 finale, this is an instant classic. I truly cannot remember the last time a song got me this excited and hyped. The “pony” part of “pony music” is here in force as well. This is truly a 2012 song with 2017 production.

Francis Vace – The Old Mare And The Sea | Album | Rock

BETTER👏LATE👏THAN👏NEVER

Shortly before we started the Horse Music Herald, Francis Vace released his first full album (of his current discography that hopefully won’t be deleted from Bandcamp any time soon) – Lost In A Pastel Hue. Now (okay, a couple of months ago) the time has come for a second full-length release. In a similar vein, The Old Mare And The Sea contains a variety of styles, draws from a few different influences, and contains solo work, collabs, and covers. We start off with upbeat pop-punk and ska solo pieces, followed by a long string of collaborative works and covers, with a couple more solo originals bookending the end of the album. In essence, the album works as a showcase for most of the different kind of styles, formats and types of song that you can find on Francis’s YouTube channel. So whether you follow his music for one particular style or for all of them, this album has something to offer everyone.
