Aside from ridiculously high quality production and sound design, Vylet Pony has a knack for relating to the world of Equestria and the creatures within it. Her connection to the show is poetically romantic as demonstrated through her concepts and music. can opener’s notebook: fish whisperer is the story of a neurodivergent unicorn going from overachieving marine biologist to aspiring musician after relocating to a quiet cabin on the Yakyakistan coast. Featuring lots of sudden track change-ups, full soundscapes, a prevailing theme of “you are/aren’t a real musician“, and so much more, every song is immersive into the coastal atmosphere and risky yet fulfilling nature of Canni (the protagonist).

It’s nice to hear Eile Monty’s voice again, and teamed up with the incredible talents of 4Everfreebrony makes for an exquisite cover! While the original You’re In My Head Like a Catchy Song is comparatively short, this duo added an extra section with more lyrics to extend the bliss that is this gorgeous love song! Soothing guitar, buttery-smooth vocals, heavenly harmonies, and more inbound – make sure to check it out!

If you know anything about MathematicPony, you’ll know how gorgeous she sounds in the original Dealbreaker. This redux highlights so much of her growth over the six years since: incredibly captivating composition, with mesmerizing ebb & flow; absolutely beautiful vocals, expertly capturing the pain and confusion Twilight feels; and of course, putting such a new spin on a pony classic that conveys a whole plethora of new emotion and tension. Harmonic Six – On The Fringe | Alternative Electronic

Harmonic Six pays tribute to Babs Seed, the fourth Cutie Mark Crusader and founder of the CMC Manehattan branch, with this delightful tune! It opens with chops from the episode “One Bad Apple”, with Babs and the CMC’s reconciling after their differences during the episode. Gentle acoustic guitar accompanies the chops before a lovely bassline joins in, and the guitar shifts to a lively melody. The introduction of percussion, xylophone, and gentle keys and woodwinds in the second half fills out the arrangement and give this song a wonderful soundtrack quality. It really sounds like it could be from an episode! The tone of the track perfectly fits the heartfelt camaraderie and playfulness of the group, echoed by the video’s background, a screencap from the episode. It’s a beautiful tribute to the character and a burst of positive energy that would make the CMC’s proud!

Hello, everypony, and welcome to this amazing undertaking of fandom creativity and goodwill! It’s always special when artists come together for a good cause, and this album, created in part to raise money for the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch, is an amazing effort by the members of Dustcar. More information on the ranch and album downloads are available through the Bandcamp site, so please check that out and support everyone involved in this project. The artists all created songs with the goal of making a song that’s “something that holds a bit of yourself in it”, and it shows in how much heart is in these tracks.
