Ponies At Dawn – Wanderlust | Compilation Album

In case you missed the release party earlier this month, Ponies at Dawn have released their twenty-sixth(!) album Wanderlust. Sporting 76 songs in a variety of genres, the album features the usual mix of P@D and fandom veterans and some newcomers to the scene. Regardless of your taste, there’s something to please everybody in this huge collection of brand new music!

Wanderlust is available to buy on Ponies At Dawn’s Bandcamp or stream on various services. Some of the songs have also been uploaded to the P@D YouTube channel, with more to come on a regular basis!

Kakofonous A. Dischord & flankƨ​y – flank​ƨ​y / kakofonous a. dischord | Experimental Album

Two friends have decided to blow the dust off their collabs and bring them out to the light for us to enjoy! Kako, aka an experimental/noise musician, founder of the music label noise.horse and game designer and developer was collabing in the last year or two with secretive street artist flankƨ​y, flankƨ​y’s music is known throughout in Pinkamena Party albums and previously featured on noise.horse too. Both musicians have chosen the streets as their office work to mark their underground musical art with narcotic frequencies and fresh physic sounds. This illegal album is only available on bandcamp and pony.fm.

Tw3Lv3, a deer musician contributing to the fandom releases since 2019 and now known as the founder of VibePoniez, her strong skill production on Drum and Bass and for numerous collaborations with musicians of the community and features on labels. Tw3Lv3’s music never fails to immerse you into their emotions, sounds to experience another world and make you feel part of their vibrant musicality. This year alone they released 4 albums, this 4th album in particular is a contemplation and an internal struggle, an album that represents her feelings that the music sings for itself.

We’re dragged in hollow ambience, dispiritedness rings in the air as monstrous guitar riffs creeps upon us accompanied by slow drums quaking the realm. We just stumbled inside the wilderness of Biscuit’s first metal album and there is no exit till the end as we will be tangled by the pressure of radiating demonic screams, restless and torching deep guitar tones, breakdowns of dynamite blasts and double time meteorite drumming throughout this electrifying album.

4EverfreeBrony – Copycat 2: Repeat After Me | Cover Album

4EverfreeBrony has been constantly releasing exceptional music since 2013, dozens of original distinguished singles, great covers, pony parodies and resplendent albums done by the multi-genre musician. Back in 2019 he released Copycat, a wholesome album doing covers of songs by brony musicians. Now in 2022 he has released Copycat 2 and featuring a range of musicians! This album is like a time capsule made with the respectful intent of bringing to light some of the lesser-known hidden gems in the fandom; some tracks on the album are more well-known, but many of them are tragically overlooked.

If you have been paying attention these past few months, then you know that it has been a great summer (or winter if you are in the southern hemisphere) for BlueBrony music! Following the incredible soundtrack for Minty Root’s Missing Out film, BlueBrony unveiled this great compilation of remastered old songs and new originals! Playful, adventurous, and often times deeply emotional, there is a lot of great variation to look forward to!

Nyanakaru – Methodic Ways To Break A Mind | Electronic Album

Jeff Burgess – Before These Mighty Skies | Alternative Cover Album

Once upon a time in the magical time of 2013, Le Soldat Pony released “Before These Mighty Skies” as an innovative, indie/alternative sound that was quite new and distinctive to the fandom. Le Soldat may not be a common name nowadays, but another longtime fandom musician certainly hasn’t forgotten. Jeff Burgess revived the ideas of the songs from the original album and transformed them into his own form of covers, even continuing to add bonus alternatives to the bandcamp album following the initial release!

Burgess’ sound mixes elements of indie, alternative, ambient, progressive, and folk to capture a full, distinctive sound that manages to come across as both somber and nostalgic – almost as if the songs themselves are thinking of Le Soldat and wondering where they are now.
